What else to say to the characters???

I always try to be funny when in public..much to my wife's displeasure
But one of my more entertaining character moments was when I called Donald Daffy....he put up his fists and motioned to me like he wanted to fight, we play fighted for 2 or 3 minutes, much to the entertainment of the kids watching, too bad they were cheering for Donald
One other great moment was when we met Jasmine and my wife told her I had a crush on her (which I admit, I may lol), and she said in a sexy voice "I am all the big boys favorite" and pulled me close and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Made my trip! As I gave her a hug, I caught my wife giving me the evil eye , but she asked for it.

Donald is always the best character to interact with. Last visit, October of this year, my boyfriend and I were at Epcot, and we went to meet Three Caballeros Donald. I told him he was very handsome, and he turned around and shook his butt in my direction. Obviously, I can't resist a duck butt. So I told him I'd leave my boyfriend for a duck butt like that. He hugged me tightly and put his beak up to my face and kissed, kissed, kissed and kissed me.

Then I asked for a picture, he agreed and my boyfriend thought it would be OK to get in the shot. But Donald shooed him away and held him tight. We took pictures and he eventually let my boyfriend in the shot. But after pictures, he took my hand and started to walk me backstage until he handler told him he couldn't kidnap guests.

We are lucky enough to be in Disney @ the Boardwalk Villas this week (yay!!!) & I had the pleasure of meeting Ariel two days ago. She was SO ADORABLE! I asked her if she likes having human legs or being a mermaid better, and she told me it was a hard decision because she LOVES living in the ocean, but also likes having legs because of all the cute shoes you can buy!! She was soooo cute. I loved it!!

I guess Ariel is a little fashionista! When I met her in the grotto in 2005 my friend and I were talking to her, telling her our names, etc....just as we were leaving she shouts over "I like your skirt Princess Wendy!" hence my DIS name...

I remember being super scared by the characters when I was young. The sherrif of nottingham stole my hat and made me cry. I always shyed away from them, and felt a little forced to meet them by my mum

Now I totally make up for being such a woos!

Last trip me and my partner where wondering around a quiet part of MK and Donald appeared from nowhere. I leaped up and down and started clapping my hands. ( I was excited as I had decided that that day would be character day as we normally concentrate on rides, he was the first one we came across!) Donald immediately did the same and came running towards me arms open for a hugg! He gave me the biggist hugg I have ever had then led me by the hand over to his position in front of his xmas tree yard. He then started to dance with me. There weren't many people around so I guess he was filling time!!! We took a photo then he kissed me. I said I had to go and he waved at me and then jumped up and down again clapping his hands! I did the same and then waved goodbye

That is to this day the best time I have had with a character

reading this thread has reminded me of the fun I had and I can't wait to go and play with the characters at christmas

When I was 6, the Big Bad Wolf chased me around a fountain outside the ticket gates. Everyone but me thought it hilarious.

Bawling and running for your life is not a great way to start your day off at the happiest place on earth.

Last Aug. we got in line to have a picture taken with the evil step Mother and step sisters. The evil step sisters were fighting over my DS. You know asking him if he would go to the ball with them, who he thought was prettier, etc.
I said to them " Sorry girls only Cinderella for my prince!"
See there reaction, look at the evils step mother face. It ws great, everyone clapped in line. It just came out of my mouth.

Here's one: Ask Jasmine if she wishes she could wear her dress more.

I had a conversation with Jasmine and Aladdin at P&PP about it:

Jasmine: Oh you're dress is so pretty! I don't have a dress...
Aladdin: You have your purple dress baby! (They called each other baby the whole time- it was precious!)
Jasmine: But I never get to wear it!
Aladdin: Yeah you do-- like when we got married! (at this point he nudged her with his shoulder and got all sweet)

It was too too cute!

When I was talking to Aurora, she asked me what kingdom I came from and I told her Canada. She looked at me, shocked, and said "Your horses must be very tired!!" I just love how in character some of the performers are.

T-shirts always help the interaction. Once we were meeting Mickey and I couldn't understand why he was shaking and trying to hide from me. When I got out, I realized I had a PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN SHIRT ON

At Crystal Palace, I told Pooh we saw some honey at the buffet. He went crazy!

Pin lanyards get lots of special attention. Chip, Dale, Minnie, Mickey and Marie all loved it when I had pins of them on my lanyard. Chip dragged Dale across the restaraunt to show him!

Pal Mickey is adorable when meeting Minnie. She took him from me and hugged him and was all with him. So cute!!

Sometimes the characters make interaction themselves. Mad Hatter asked us where we were from and we said Canada and he said 'Oh my! You must have fell a long way down the rabbit hole to get here!'

Same trip, DD was dismayed that Ariel wasn't at Cinderella's coronation celebration. She just couldn't leave it alone and kept asking me about it all day. The next morning, Ariel greets us in her lovely pale green dress at the entrance to Akerhaus. DD asks her why she wasn't there.
With all the patience in the world, Ariel kneels down and says, "Remember in my movie at the concert for my father when the sea shell opens?" (She opens her hands like a shell)
DD nods her head.
Ariel: "Do you remember where I was?"
DD: "You were playing and you were late."
Ariel: "It's a terrible habit of mine. I get distracted, lose track of time and I'm late. Don't worry though. I've already spoken to Cinderella, I've apologized and she said that it was okay. We're still the best of friends."
DD looks at me with the fiercest look she can muster and tells me, "See? Everything is fine Mom, they're still friends!" As if I were the one wondering where Ariel was. All I could do was shurg.

After reading many many pages of this and absolutely loving them all i just had to say that this is so totally my favourite .. its just the sort of thing my DD would do to me

One time Captain Hook was walking away from a Meet and Greeet(he switched out with Smme), and he saw me looking at him. We were under the briged by Priares and there was a barrel there. Suddenly out of no where he began to kick it and pound on it, then I turned to me and waved, lol!!!

Then the Queen of Hearts...she is so good. I swear that is a guy in there, lol. I got my pic taken with her and she gavbed me as close as she could and squeezed me into her chest, lol! I heard the character laughing from inside the caostum, it was really fun!

Very cute story!!! Also, I love you signature. My DBf is 24 going on 10, so I know tons about dating a man-boy. I buy him comics and star wars stuff all the time.

We were at Chef Mickey's and Minnie came to the table. I got up to take a good picture. Donald came over and Minnie pulled the bow on Donald's tail and quickly ran away. Donald put his hands on his hips and I pleaded "it wasn't me it was Minnie!" My dd thought it was hilarious.
