What else to say to the characters???

While seeing Scrooge McDuck I asked if there was a fee to see him. He nodded vigourously and held out his hand. I placed a few coins there and he dropped them! That made him smack his head and hide it in his hands in embarassment. The kids loved it!

Last Aug. we were in Epcot and came across Belle. DD4 was carrying her autograph book from a prior trip. Its the kind with slots for pictures with the autographs next to them. She already had a picture and autograph with Belle, so she did not need an autograph but she really wanted to meet Belle again. Despite the long line, Belle spent a ton of time with DD. She went though the whole book and commented on the pictures. When she got to the one with DD and Belle she made a big deal of saying how she remembered DD from the past trip and how she loves wearing her yellow dress. DD still talks about their conversation. I felt bad for the people behind us in line!

Before our last trip, my DD3 asked me if Mickey Mouse wears underwear. I told her that I wasn't sure, but that she could ask him on our next trip. I forgot about the conversation, but she didn't! The first time we saw Mickey, she went right up and whispered the question in his ear! He pretended to be too embarrassed to answer. It was very cute!

A couple of years agao we were at DHS and found by accident the characters from The Increidbles. So we waited in line and had our photo taken as a family with the whole Incredibles family. Then my husband says I want one of me and her only (referring of course to Elasta Girl - Mrs. Incredible). As they are posing for the photo, Mr. Incredible was making these very "threatening" jestures to my husband about being too close to his wife!! It was hilarious!! My husband still talks about how Mr. Incredible was jealous of him!! :rotfl:

well if your from wi dont mention it to mickey he gets all excited to see people from wi
it seemed like he patted down every one in our group hopeing we had brought some cheese from homw for him

i think things like that are a big plus when you get time with a charateor if they act like who they are dressed as

On our recent trip, DD(she's 15) went to the Pirate's League(was made up as a male pirate, beard and scar) and then went in costume to Pixie Hollow. The fairies almost threw her out until she stated she was with Capt. Jack not Hook. Tink said she could stay cause Capt. Jack is cute!

at 1900 Park Fair I had a ton of fun chatting with Step Mother...
I can't recall the whole conversation as we bantered back and forth quite a bit, but I suggested her daughters might do better if they tried playing hard to get, rather than acting so desperate.
boys don't like girls who chase them, etc etc. Im so annoyed I can't think of everything
I may have mentioned they should read the book The Rules
He facial reations and banter were fabulous.
It was so much fun!

As you know, Cinderella's Stepmother makes rude remarks to all of the children. When it was my daughter's turn for an autograph and picture, she very politely asked, "Ma'am, may I please have a picture with you and your beautiful daughters?" She replied, "Lovely manners child," in her droll voice. She made everyone in the crowd take notice of her polite manners-- my daughter loved it!

I'll post two from our recent trip:
My kids love Mulan, so we were very excited to see her at Epcot. When we took pictures, my DS6 said "Can you do your warrior pose and not your princess pose?" She loved it and took lots of extra time with them.

At AK we ran into Devine. All the people in the crowd didn't know who she was I guess, because they kept calling her "Tree Lady" As she walked by my family said " Thank you Ms Devine!" She stopped and waved her branches over our heads and bowed. Very cool.

We always boo the villians as they come by during the parades. That always gets a good reaction from them. Cruella yelled at my DDs "Where's my puppies!?!?!?" and Jafar stopped and gave them an evil stare. Freaked them out!

-- POOH --
On our first trip we ate at Crystal Palace. DD(11) was almost 3 at the time. She absolutely LOVED Pooh, and we had to go see him and take our picture several times during the meal. Just before we left we went to say goodbye to him, and DD asked him "Where is your honey?" He held up his finger saying "just a minute". He walked over to the kitchen area and talked to one of the cooks. He came back with a bottle of honey and showed it to DD! :lmao: That was too cute, and she came up with it all on her own! Pooh is still one of her favorites, even at 11.

-- HOOK --
On our last trip, I was pushing the youngest two DDs in a stroller when we passed by Capt'n Hook and Mr Smee doing a meet and greet in Adventureland. I told DW to get the video camera out. hehe I yelled across the way "Hey Hook! You're a COD-FIIIIISH!!!" :rotfl: He jumped over the ropes where he was and came running after me! I took off running while still pushing the stroller. (Luckily there weren't many people along the path) My DDs were screaming and I was laughing hysterically. Hook gave up and stopped chasing us, then the girls started laughing. They thought that was the best.

I've taken a bunch of notes from this thread. Lots of good ideas. :thumbsup2 I plan to ask Woody if he has 'ANDY' written on the bottom of his boot.

Not really a Disney character, but several years ago when we were at DHS we stopped to watch some the street performers. This was one where there was a director auditioning "stars" for an upcoming movie role. The CMs were absolutely hilarious.

Well one of the "stars" took a liking to my husband and was "flirting" with him and blowing him kisses. She was really playing her role and when she saw that I had a camera she insisted that I take her picture with my DH. After I snapped the photo, she draped her arm thru his and started to walk away with him and turned and looked back over her shoudler and said to me, "Don't be too sad sweetheart, you have that photo to remember him by!" The crowd that had gathered around to watch the performance was laughing and I thought that was just too funny!!!!:rotfl:

Things we have done?reactions we got

At Chef Mickeys:
one son wore a goofy hat (green striped one with the ears) other in Mickey Mouse ears. Goofy stole my oldest's goofy hat and had my son chase him down. Donald got VERY upset about the mickey mouse ears and stomped off. When Mickey came around, all three guys left me sitting there alone (hubby and two boys) so Mickey decided to have dinner with me (great pick!)

Mary Poppins: the boys sang supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to her (that was a riot) and we got a classic Mary Poppins line from it

Alice: DH bowed and complimented her on her dress and she began a discussion of gallant gentlemen

Belle (yellow dress): I asked her who her modiste was and where I could get a version of her dress (and I got referred to some magic dinnerware)

Lilo and Stitch: my youngest showed up with a stitch stuffed animal and my dh in a stitch hat. Stitch kept coming up to us while waiting in line (at AK) and hugging the stitch animal. They then got really excited when it was our turn to come up to them and made a big deal about Stitch now having brothers! He then signed both the stuffed stitch and the hat. (my dh also got LOTS of comments walking around the parks with his stitch hat on, especially from kids screaming ITS STITCH).

Donald Duck: sign the Mickey Mouse Club song to him, also you will get a great reaction if you tell him he's your favorite over that Mouse.

Tigger: ask him to go bouncing with you

The Up characters (not sure if there are still there). We had great interaction with them, especially Karl as I tried to get him to trade my his Grape Soda Pin for one of my pins

If I remember correctly I think we asked the Beast about Roses, this was after he showed up right as it was our turn and my sons were talking to Belle and Beast tried remove the competition for Belle :lmao:

If your on the ropes during the MK parade, the Wicked Step Sisters flirt with all the men and there was lots of interaction from ladies hiding their Dh/Boyfriends from them and watching the step sisters pout

Love that thread - too funny:). When I went to say goodbye to Baloo on my last day of my 1st trip to WDW, I told him to always look for the bare necessities and say hi for me to Mowgli and Bagheera. It made the people around me smile and Baloo responded with one more big bear hug for me.:goodvibes

Oh, and since Tigger also ranks high among my faves, I always ask him to bounce with me. It's too cute being able to do this with him. The photopass guys loved that, as did the folks watching me.

When we were there my 2 DDs wanted to see the princesses but my 10 yr old DS was a little less enthused...so we had him practice some princess pick up lines:rotfl: When he finally agreed to wait in line for a princess he got down on one knee, took her hand, kissed it and said Ènchante! She loved it! I think it caught her off guard...made an awsome pic! Ill post if I can figure it out!:wizard:

I think got some good ones

For Jafar- Asking him what it was like being a genie

In AK, tell King Louie that Baloo is your favorite and he'll go into a tizzy.
