What else to say to the characters???

In AK, tell King Louie that Baloo is your favorite and he'll go into a tizzy.

Indeed. Whenever I met Baloo, I told him and everyone around me that he is my fave (he REALLY is!). Specially when the Photopass guy did some shots me me w/Baloo alone - that made King Louie feel kind of sad. I met them about 7 times in one week and had such great interactions with my favorite buddy.

Oh my goodness! This is the most wonderful thread! I had no idea what to say to the characters when we went for the first time last year! We went to the MNSSHP and met several villians. My son (9) was too scared to go meet white rabbit and The Queen of Hearts. My daughter and I did and when my son wouldn't come up to get an autograph the Queen marched over to him and stuck her hand out for him to kiss (which he did) It was so funny!

The best interactions we had were on our honeymoon when I wore my bridal ears. Minnie and Mickey stood at our table and had an argument at Chef Mickey's. Minnie kept (gently) grabbing my ring hand and pointing to it and waving it at Mickey's face and pointing to her own hand while he tried to dismissively wave her away. Later Chip and Dale tried to woo me away from my new husband.

Apologies if this idea has been posted, I didn't have time to read the whole thread...

When our DD was 3, we were waiting in line to meeti Rafiki outside of AK. She was holding a small, stuffed Baby Simba her Grammie had just bought her in the park. When it was her turn, Rafiki got down on his knee took the Simba doll and held it up, just like "The presentation of Simba" in the movie.

We were so shocked that we missed taking a picture, so Rafiki (quite the trooper) posed again so we could snap a picture.

At a character meal, I always ask them if they cooked the dinner. If Chip tells me he did, I'll say that Dale is taking the credit for it. Once I told Aladdin that Jafar was being mean to the little kids and he went over and they had a whole scene.

The funniest thing I've ever seen is when Chip stole DH's hat and then Chip and Dale played keep away with it for 2 or 3 minutes. Everyone was laughing at that. DH still talks about stealing one of their hats some day to get even.

This happened to me when I was little. That is probably why those two are my favorite characters ever!

Okay, just read through everything and didn't see anything about this, so I thought I would post it.:goodvibes

I am going to Disney in March for my birthday and plan on giving Peter Pan a thimble (Not the 'thimble' Wendy tries to give him though, haha I wish).

Does that sound like a good idea? I wonder if anyone has done it? :confused3

I love Peter Pan!

And I have lots of great character interaction stories, but I'll have to write them down when I have more time!:thumbsup2

We sort of did this on one trip when my ds was 3. One of the princesses kissed his cheek, which left her lipstick lips on his cheek. Peter asked my ds what that was and I told him it was a thimble. Wendy and Peter bantered back and forth over what a thimble was and then she kissed my ds autograph book for him to always have her thimble.

Okay well...when we went in 08, we had lots of character interaction cause we were there for 2 weeks. The only things I can think of and remember that happened was, there was lots of intereaction with me wearing my superman shirt, from CM and characters...I think I remember Aladdin pointing out to Genie and saying it's a secret or something. I remember at the Garden grill and for the life of me I can't find the picture, I posed with Pluto as if I was flying.

I do remember after popping the question my fiancee, we waited in line for the princesses and told cinderella that I did so infront of the castle.

I'm sure we'll tell her again when we go in a few weeks at CRT.

Lastly also after the proposal, we were at AK and we told Stitch for whatever reason, but he kept trying to steal her and we did pose for a picture like this.

Gonna try and convince the fiancee to do more character stuff for our week down there in feb. I told her about the Mary Poppins, saying "the word" backwards and she wants to meet Marie, so we'll see. I took some notes on some of the stuff. I wanna tell Dug from Up that I see a squirrel, and I wanna tell Mr. Incredible that I'd like a picture with Mrs.Incredible. There's is defintiley some stuff I wanna try when we go down!

-- HOOK --
On our last trip, I was pushing the youngest two DDs in a stroller when we passed by Capt'n Hook and Mr Smee doing a meet and greet in Adventureland. I told DW to get the video camera out. hehe I yelled across the way "Hey Hook! You're a COD-FIIIIISH!!!" :rotfl: He jumped over the ropes where he was and came running after me! I took off running while still pushing the stroller. (Luckily there weren't many people along the path) My DDs were screaming and I was laughing hysterically. Hook gave up and stopped chasing us, then the girls started laughing. They thought that was the best.

That is HILARIOUS. :rotfl: Too funny!

Awwwwww! I was wondering if I should refer to it is a thimble or a kiss though. Becaues Wendy says a kiss, but ends up giving him a thimble. Then when she says thimble, she tries to give him a kiss.

Hopefully I can do this when Wendy is there and see what SHE does haha. :rotfl:

Marie is great to meet! I'd suggest telling her she has a very pretty bow or nice white fur on her cheeks, she would like that. And also, if you meet Dug, that poor puppy must hear the whole 'squirrel' thing hundreds of times a day, when I was in line he stopped reacting after about 5 groups in a row said "squirrel" to him. :) Maybe ask if you guys can pretend to dig a hole together, he might like that! Have fun!!

Someone also talked about meeting Lilo and Stitch. Poor Lilo doesn't get as much attention as Stitch--ask her to teach you how to hula dance, she'll be more than happy to!

It's was non-story related, but when DS and I met Peter Pan last April, he asked where we were from. When I told him we were from Indiana, he commented that he knows some "pirates" in Lafayette and some "lost boys" in Ft. Wayne... he almost broke character in describing where his friends lived, but I thought he did a great job covering up! :lmao:

When we met Dug, my dd went right to him and she hugged him. I said to her, "Look Allison, Dug just met you and he already loves you!" and Dug started "licking" her head like crazy. My dd was in heaven!

You can meet Dug?????????????? I didn't know he was in the parks! Oh, man. My kids are going to love that! (I love it, too)

Tell Donald that you just seen the bank towing his boat away for non payment

Ask Donald why Mickey is everywhere and not him.

Ask Pan where Hook went - since he's no longer in Adventureland.

Tell Pluto to find Mickey.

Ask Tigger if he likes Frosted Flakes.

If you're a guy, ask Minnie if she'd ever leave Mickey for you. :P Tell her you'll sweep her off her feet.

If you're with Chip and Dale, ask both of them which is better.

Ask Daisy what she thinks of roses and tulips. :)

Just a few.
