What else does Pal Mickey do?

I've been hearing about this 'Pal Mickey' so I googled it to see what I could find. Sounds like quite a nifty little gadget that would be fun for the kiddos while they were visiting the parks. So...if you decide to purchase a Pal Mickey...how much are they? I got a little confused with the pricings I found on some of the websites. Also...what does Pal Mickey do once you bring him home? Would he turn out to be a very, very expensive plush toy and that's it? Or does he still talk, play games, etc?

Well...ours was stolen! Have to say after buying not one but two, that he is pretty much just an expensive stuffy who tells silly jokes! He is cute, but I would think twice about buying yet another one! I think he runs about $60 now. He was $45 when I bought him.

He plays little memory type games and tells jokes after you get him home. He is just fun. We got one in September last year, and took him back along with us in January. I think we paid $50 for him, but he has probably gone up by now.

Ok..the price was mainly what I was confused about. Most of the sites I looked at listed a price (around $60) and then a day-by-day breakdown of how much it would cost to rent him and I was a bit confused. I understood it to be that $60 was the holding fee (in case you ran out and stole your Pal Mickey and didn't return him) and then there was a day by day fee for rental (like $8 for day one, $24 for two days, etc).

He also tells you nifty things about the parks that you might not notice otherwise. I specifically remember him telling us about a tree in DAK that had ribbons hanging from it, and the folklore behind it. I never would have seen the tree if it hadn't been for Pal Mickey. He vibrates when he gets near something that he wants to tell you about.
