I'm a HUGE fan of Disney, but hey, there's things I don't like. So I thought I'd see what else people don't like and hey, maybe someone at Disney is reading this and will fix it! :goodvibes No flames.

I think having to pay for internet in the resort where you're staying is absurd..especially at 9.95 per day. Most hotels I stay at now offer free internet, which is the way it should be. Even though I'm not there to go on my laptop (obviously) it's still nice to be able to check on email, etc at night.

I wish the parks were open a bit later. I was disappointed they closed at 9 while I was there last month (although the EMH were great!).

:teeth:

$9.95 per DAY for internet? Huh. I suppose I should rethink this taking the computer idea. But it's really a pain getting that desktop on the plane anyway. :confused3

Hmmmm :scratchin,

oh yeah, that it is too far from me :teeth:

Other than that, I think that the deluxes are a bit overpriced.

That it is not located in Texas :worried:

That they don't have huge discounts for 'true' Disney fans and DIS members :mickeyjum :donald:

My biggest complaint was always the lack of a shuttle from the airport to the resorts. Right now they have the ME but it's supposed to be temporary. Hopefully it'll become permanent.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's overpriced but it is quite expensive. It's worth the money but it's just so much. Except the food. The food is ridiculously overpriced and it's not that great for the most part.

They wont let me wear my thong in the parks..no matter how hot the weather is

Well, I wasn't happy that Disney considers children over 9 an adult, but then i found out that Kings Island considers children over 7 and adult. WDW parking $8 Kings Island $10 or $15 for preferred. Now that an idea, offering premiere parking at premiere rates :rotfl: . Anything to make an extra buck!

I don't like that it's too far for me to drive to and that the parks close too early in Fall.

I'm not particularly happy that my family can only visit (afford to visit) once a year.

Having to make dinner reservations far in advance. I don't know when I'm going to be hungry, where I'll be, or what I want to eat so far in advance. I think if you're staying in a particular resort, you should at least get "first crack" at the resturants in your resort on a walk in basis.

The supposed great service can be a real pain when you are waiting in a big line and you can see the reason it is taking forver is the real long coversations between the guests and CM's. I'm sorry but I don't want the person at the front desk of the resort going on and on about the guests home town after they have finished checking them in. There is lobby full of people waiting.

I think that bottled water and fountain drinks should be cheaper in the parks and resorts.

I also wish the rental strollers would recline farther.

The fact that a 10 year old is considered an adult on the dining plan.

The outrageously high priced meals at table service restaurants -- $100 for lunch for 4 at Sci Fi??? Come on!

Paying for internet. We had to put out almost $100 for our stay. DH takes online classes and he wasn't on break, so he had to have internet access.

Paying so much for park-hopping when it's such a pain in the keister to get from park to park.

Buses to & from DTD.

Getting from resort to resort.

Other GUESTS! You know the ones I mean -- the ones who think that their needs are the only ones that count. "It's my first trip here, I should be first! I should get whatever I want whenever I want because I paid big money for this trip!"

Sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but not one of those things will make me quit going. :goodvibes

I don't like that the deluxe resorts are just standard rooms. All deluxe rooms should be bigger and have more room choices like Great Wolf Lodge does. All deluxe rooms should have a whirlpool tub in them.If you really think about it, you are paying over $300!!!!! a night for a plain room!

1.) Crowds

2.) Fees for internet--especially at deluxe resorts!

3.) That super annoying thing they do at shows. You know, where you get there 20 minutes, pick out the seat you want, only to be foiled by some ultra-perky CM who makes everyone get up and shift right so that the people who roll in 1 minute before showtime can get my prime seat? I HATE that!

I would say the cost of counter service food.

While I can afford to pay for counter service I feel "sorry" for the families that struggle to go to Disney and have to pack lunch/snacks for the parks.

I think about the kids that would love to get a burger/turkey leg/etc and have to eat a home made PNJ because that is all the family could afford.

For reference consider the Eddy Murphy skit/joke where he would talk about wanting to go to McDonalds as a kid but instead his mom would make the thick hamburgers that were nothing like a McDonald's burger.

The way they have PUSHED :mickeyjum out of the way and SHOVED :stitch2: down our throats!

Fortunately we can stay at Shades of Green. I really like this resort as well as I have liked the Deluxe Disney resorts, and I consider myself a "Disney Resort Snob". That being said, I spent many thousands of dollars on Disney vacations. What has turned me off??? After years as a guest of the Y&B Club, the disappearance of complimentary coffee in the morning in the lobby. You get THAT at Day's Inn!!! "Buying opportunities" at the end of every WDW attraction. It gets tiring. Promotions for ABC all over MGM Studios. Most of the tv shows I haven't seen nor will ever see. The nickel and diming that others have mentioned, whether its the internet, etc.

YES! My DD loves Stitch, but even she wasn't too thrilled to see him anymore by the end of our stay. We had a very hard time finding Mickey anywhere. Then on the day the girls finally found Mickey and Minnie, my DH was off getting FP's with my camera and the girls' cameras' batteries died. :furious: At least I got plenty of sympathy from both Mickey and Minnie. :rotfl:

Mainly that the deluxes are hideously overpriced.

My only big dislike has nothing to do with WDW- the rude/ignorant/inconsiderate guests.
