What does "PPO" mean?

Forgive my ignorance. I've been out of the Disboards loop for a few years now.

What do the letters "PPO" mean? I've seen them next to ADR most frequently. "Prepaid Paid Order" is the only thing I can come up with...

I will forever consider it a type of insurance plan.

But apparently some have taken to using the same abbreviation for "pre park open" dining reservations.

Yup it is pre-park opening, when people are talking about ADR's.

Sadly, PPO is not on this list. Actually, the list needs an update. But, most common abbreviations are on there.

For this one, longevity on the board wouldn't matter.

"PPO" is a very "new" abbreviation due to very recent specific discussions.

I work in insurance....PPO to me means Personal Property of Others. Lol.

I have to say, I, for one, get a little frustrated with all of the abbreviations used around here. You really have to know your stuff to have any hope of understanding what the heck people are talking about in half of the threads on these boards.
