I work for one of the major Oil Companies in the Retail Fuels division. I coordinate between our supply group and our field group to provide gasoline for loading at 66 terminals across parts of the US. I am considered by many to be one of the bad guys that charge you to much for gasoline.

WHOA! yeaaah I def. say thats a HUGE responsibility!!! WELL SOO glad you responded to my thread because you can def. help me out--damn ATM machine only spit out $40.00 I actually put in $400.00 !! I just dont know HOW that happened You might see that on your desk, in the meantime could I get my $360.00 since the ATM ate it!

PS-it was that ummmm ATM machine at ummm...Hollywood Stuidoooss.. hehe

Oops, just saw this one and, unfortunately, I can't do anything about it 'cause it wasn't one of our ATMs. I hope they got it resolved for you, though! It's amazing how many things can go wrong with these machines on a daily basis, and it's also amazing how many bizarre things people insert into ATMs on a daily basis. Our machines are the ones that will accept a stack of currency (or checks) and will read them and credit your account immediately for the deposit (or at least the same day, if it's checks you're depositing). And every single day, machines go down because people are shoving things like rocks, cardboard, pennies, candy, rubberbanded or stapled cash, etc., into them. Boggles the mind.

Who puts SweetTarts into an ATM?! Honestly.

Things are definitely busy. Corporate tax issues are always present in an up or down economy. I selected my specialty because it's recession proof. So far that seems to be the case; my group is very busy compared to other departments in the firm.

It's a good job, but it's definitely mentally difficult and draining. Companies try to come up with very interesting and convoluted ways to minimize their tax burdens, and it's usually my job to unravel what it is they want to do and explain to them why they can't do it. Fun!

I'm only 20 so i'm a FT Student and PT daycare employee

But...i'm majoring in child psychology with a focus on early childhood development. I'm hoping to become a child life specialist at either Mattel or Children's Hospital LA. In the back of my mind though i do want to go to medical school but i doubt that will happen

But for now, I'm making $10/hour for 25 hrs/week adn my parents are still supporting me....its a good deal for me...my parents might not agree so much
