I was looking at our reservation for the Contemporary and we had booked a tower room and it says CF after it in ( ) so i was wondering what it stood for. Can't wait only 9 more days til we are at Disney

Thanks
Stacy

Well, now, then, there .... hummmm.
You're question caused me to look at my own reservation for the Contemporary (tower room with MK view), and mine has the "(CF)" notation as well. (I wouldn't have noticed it without your post.)

My best guess would be that it stands for "confirmed."

Enjoy.

Thanks for the responses I guess I will find out soon. But right now I will think of it as Confirmed that way I won't get my hopes up.

It is the category of room that you have booked.

Each hotel is signified by a letter to let the reservation center know what resort you are booked at and that is followed by the letter of the categorey that you have booked. The Contemporary's Descriptor code is "C" so that tells them your reservation is at the Contemporary, I am not familiar with the categorey descriptors at the Contemporary to know what the F means, but I would assume that it means MK or Bay lake View... I can give you an example using the Wilderness Lodge (I worked there, so it is the only example I have for an explination) so here goes Wilderness Lodge is hotel "J" so the categories there are JA-Standard view, JB- Woods view, JC- Courtyard view, JD-Concierge, JH- Honeymoon Suite, JS- Deluxe Room, JV- Vice Pres, JP- Pres and they just added JE (bunk beds woods view) and JF (Bunk Beds Courtyard view)... Sorry I don't know what the view descriptors are at Contemporary, but I hope that helps to answer the question a little bit!

CRO should be able to tell you what the code stands for. I've asked them before.

My reservation at the Poly has a PK, I guess the K is for lagoon view since that is what I booked.

Hmm I have a Pop Century reservation that says GA. I wonder if that means Ground floor Accessible?

We have a room with a king-size bed booked at CSR and the code after it is NK. I thought it meant "nonsmoking king," but when I called CRO to ask I was told it was just "a room code."

I got curious, and just went and got my travel package they sent, and I have a (v) after the resort name and all close the the number of guests section, but then again I notice it's there in a few areas of my documents of what I have in my package. I don't see anything on mine for AKL that's in () except that, so not sure what that means, but was curious.

:confused3 just curious, where are you guys seeing this? We only have an email for our reservation and there is nothing there?

Under Reservation Details on the email, it gives the name of our resort (CSR) and then it says "King Bed 5 nights (NK)."

Mine has a (V) not only next to my CBR kingbed room but also next to my package vouchers for minature golf, sea raycer and Planet Hollywood.

I don't recall ever being sent an e-mail confirmation, just a bunch of the reg mailed ones.

I asked this a few weeks ago - I was told it is only a room code - internal coding that is.

I booked Wilderness Lodge - it shows "Wilderness Lodge - YYW" on my reservation.

"N" is the code for CSR and "K" is a king standard room.

"G" is the code for the Pop Century and "A" simply means standard room (could be king or 2 double beds).

You are correct.

Unfortunately, I don't have the new view codes for the Contemporary. It used to be simply "CT" for Contemporary Tower. Now that they have the bookable MK view, it makes sense that it's coded "CF".

Thanks that does make sense. We all tend to look at some code and try to convert it into english. Sometimes a code is just a code. :lmao:

I have Pop and it has a (V):confused3 . I thought maybe because I used the Disney Visa discount.

on www.disney.co.uk you can find the codes when you make a search for booking. Choose the resort you want, choose edit/view and somewhere below left can choose room type and there they have the codes with it.
