I'm just Buying a gift card for someone who just buys coffee at those places in the morning. Since I don't drink it...I don't know the cost of a cup. I'd like to put enough money on it for at least 2 weeks worth of once a day drinks.

Thanks!

At the McDonalds around here, they have all sizes of the regular coffee (hot and iced) for $1.00. Don't know if it's a permanent thing or just a promotion.

This does not include the lattes, cappucinos, etc.

Regular size is like 12oz at McD's.

If this person is a senior, McD's gives them a senior price of like 50 cents a cup. It's still the same size. Just ask when you go in to buy the gift card. Or ask them if they could "ring you up for 15 coffees", then round up to the next dollar and put it on a gift card.

Yep, she is a senior. It's my friends grandmother and she loves getting her coffee in the morning! Hopefully more will chime in with whether or not the $1 coffee is a promotion or normal pricing.

Regular coffee is normally $1 here for any size. Right now the special hot drinks are also $1, but that is just a promo.

Mc Donalds here in Jersey is $1 all sizes every day too. It is the regular price.

I travel a four state sales territory, and frequent McDonalds most days several times a day for coffee. Most, but not all of the stores I've visited sell all sizes for a dollar. However I can tell you that the "Arch" card (giftcard) is sold in denominations of $5, $10, $25, $50. You can't buy one for say, $14.

Every McDonald's has a senior coffee price. It's what my grandparents had every morning on our road trips (from FL to Indiana, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Texas). And it's still what my grandmother gets in the morning. So it's not just a specific area in the nation.

Here the regular coffee is (and has been) on the "Value Menu" at McDonalds and is always $1.00. This is hot coffee only (no iced, no specialty). $14.00 should cover it! :goodvibes

Thanks! Someone else is picking the cards up so I wanted to make sure I gave them enough for it. A $5 and $10 card should be good then.

If the $1 coffee is a promotion, it's a loooooong term promotion....it's been that way for at least two years, no end in sight. At least in the areas where I roam (CT, MA, NH, VT)

I just asked the guy at the drive thru. A senior coffee is 75 cents. So as long as she gets a senior coffee, she might get a few extra days out of it.
