I think maybe I've passed ROFR but I'm not for sure. I just opened my email and there were documents from the Timeshare Store Closing Department. I read them but nothing said, hey, you passed, fill this out. I didn't get an email or a call from my Timeshare Store person, Jason, to say, hey, you passed, look out for some documents. Because of that, I'm trying not to get excited. And it's too late to call to clarify. :guilty: One document I'm supposed to sign is just my understanding that Disney gets ROFR. I understand that. Then there's the verify my information document. Okay. And then a Things I Should Know About Your Closing document. Which makes me think maybe............... :confused3

I'm about to have a stroke between being excited and then telling myself not to get too excited because I'll get very, very disappointed in the morning. And then I'm excited again, and then... we'll you get the drift.

I was hoping some one of you had gone through this with TSS before and would maybe know their procedure.

Thanks!

Well I only received those documents to fill out once I got the news that Disney passed on it's ROFR, so I'd like to say congratulations!

stenogoddess - we just went thru this (within the last 2 mos) and we got about 6 such documents that you referenced you received via email. After all this was returned along with our deposit check - then it took approximately 1 week for us to get that "Congratulations" email from TTS - we got a personal email from Jerry who we worked with and a separate one from TTS general email address with a .pdf document congratulating us - so, sorry, it doesn't sound like you passed yet. . .

Further, we even received an email on the day that the documents were sent to Disney for them to consider ROFR did you get one of those yet?

Good luck!

I didn't get any congratulations email from TSS. I've never gotten any emails from Jason unless I've emailed or called him first. I had to email him to find out if he got the documents and then to ask when they were sent to Disney. So he's not the most communicative person I've ever worked with. I guess everyone has their own style. And probably work with so many high-strung Disney hopefuls (by this I totally mean me :goodvibes ) that he just loses track of us.

So it still sounds iffy. Bummer. I'm still taking a little hope from the other posts though. The Disney points dream dies hard, doesn't it! :lmao:

So, if your docs were already sent to Disney then maybe you are all set - sounds like you just need to make a call this am for sure!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

We received the documents you described from the closing company a couple of days BEFORE we were notified we passed ROFR. So my guess is you haven't passed quite yet.

Just got off the phone with TSS. No news yet on ROFR. I knew I was getting happier than I should. Apparently the new documents are just something for the file. Thank's for everyone's well wishes. :goodvibes

Sorry about this. It really doesn't sound like the Jason I know. I will admit to be not thrilled with the communications from the timeshare closing service, whom seem disorganized to me, but all my dealings (of 8 or more) at TTS (The Timeshare Store) have been fabulous.

Call Jason, and share your concerns with him, perhaps you haven't yet passed, or your email bounces from his end.

Best of luck!

we went through the same thing a week and a half ago. I recieved the email from the closing company with the papers to sign and fax back and got a little excited because we thought we had passed because the month before whrn we lost an OKW contract we never received the email. I called the TTS and they said it was some new thing that the closing company was doing so that was a bit of a let down. We did hear back a few days later that we had passed.

Good luck still

It's such a let down, isn't it? :sad2: I really think they should at least inclue a note in the email that says, hey, no news yet but could you fill out this paperwork! At least you finally got yours! :Pinkbounc I'm still waiting but hopeful.

As the above threads indicate it is the CLOSING service, not Jason or TTS that is causing this confucion. They are seperate entities. On my last purchase of 3 contracts simultaneoulsy, the closing service notified me of passing ROFR on only one contract, sent me 2 sets of closing papers (for 2 of the 3 contracts) and when I called them, they had no knowledge of the 3 rd contract!

One call to Jason straightened it out instantly.

IMHO, it would be better to have all communications through TTS, but since TSCS (the closing service) is a seperate company, not part of TTS, I don'tknow if they will agree to that.

Still a BIG Jason fan!

Good luck. One reason I bought BWV though Disney, didn't have to go though what you are going though.
