What do you think should happen to this woman?

Charge with murder and no possible parole...

She makes me sick... :furious:

There are many things I would love to say about this but I'm sure they would all be starred out anyway. Lets just say that she shouldn't be allowed back out on the streets at all.

I think she should have a cell with Piper Roundtree and debate which one is dumber.

I couldn't agree more! You must be another CourtTV addict....?

Love your tag, btw :thumbsup2

Damn shame, lock her *** up and throw away the key!!!!!

This will never happen as they( Law Makers) are much of the time driving drunk theirselves. This is why there are so many loopholes in the system.

::yes:: That is it exactly. Maybe what they need to do to make it so that these people can't drive is to make it impossible for them to get a car. Confiscate their vehicle and flag them some how so if they try to get a new one, they can be denied. And if they use someone elses vehicle that person can be held responsible.

Miranda Danda: Here in Newport News, we hardly hear anything about what goes on in Richmond, but my ex's girlfriend had to spend time in jail for a DUI while Piper was awaiting her trial and told me about her. Then I watched on Court tv, what a dumb***.

I like your Steven Tyler tag as well

My honest opinion? I thought that she looked a heck of a lot older than 33. My my, alcohol ages the face.

On other notes, I'd prefer not to pay for this woman's existence for the next 60 years in prison. And knowing that there's no way to keep her out of a car ... I mean, let's face it, we can't pragmatically throw away all keys ... I think she should spend the rest of her life in work camp out in desert California. If she's going to eat the three meals a day I'm financing, she should at least be cleaning up my highway and manufacturing my license plates.

In all reality, she's a very troubled woman. Lives like this one sadden me. Don't you agree that she looks like ten miles of hard road? This is not a woman who lived a sweet childhood with pink comforters and intact virginity. It has not been easy for her. It's written all over her face.

I agree.

Is OJ still single? Can we get them hitched, quickly?

Moving Target in NC (stepping over that line just a little)

I recently had this man come to my house to give me an estimate to PAINT. He proceeded to tell me (after I liked his estimate, and that others have used him and he had a great "work" reference) that he was arrested for a second time for drunk driving. OH REALLY I SAY. So I will have to find a ride to your house to actually do the work. OH REALLY I SAY. He then proceeds to tell me he is going for his CINDERELLA license....WHAT THE HELL IS THAT I ASK...as the only Cinderella I know is in DISNEY. Well, it is so I can drive after midnight. OH REALLY I SAY.
Anyway, he is a LOSER and he is gone BUT what he did say is that in MA now you will have to (and I am not sure exactly what it is all about) blow into an apparatus to start your car???? This is for those that are SECOND OFFENDERS in DUI. BUT that he is "grandfathered" as his second offense came BEFORE the state of MA wrote in that new blowing device/thingy. I am not sure how far along this bill is in the Statehouse BUT they are pushing that in MA as well as a special bright YELLOW license plate on your car that says you were/or are or had a DUI??? Anyone else heard of this???
But YES, in MA they call that driving after midnight CINDERELLA license. That is a shame to use her name in that respect....and this LOSER kept referring to it as "CINDY" license..........OMG!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!! :furious: :furious:

I suppose cutting off her hands so she 1.) couldn't pick up another drink and 2.) so she couldn't drive, would be too harsh? Life in prison~no parole then.

DH's comment was the only thing that would stop her from drinking and driving is blinding her so she couldn't drive. Hate to say it, he's probably right.

I have heard of this device, I saw it on one of the news shows. It is like a breathalizer the police use and is connected to the starter. If you blow into it and fail the car won't start.

When I saw her picture I wondered why she looked so strange. Then I read what she had done and I literally felt sick to my stomach when I looked at the picture again. I think of the family of the people who were killed....

The morning news just ran another story about her. She's being charged with second degree murder along with a list of moving violations.

Second degree just is not good enough for her.

The MA "breath starter" thing is a good idea - but there are SO many ways to get around it. Drive someone elses car, get someone else to blow in it for you... etc.

I think VA thought about the special license plates for DUI offenders but it was knocked down because too many people didn't want to "embarrass" the families of these drunks. I'm sorry, but if your spouse continues to drink and drive enough to get caught more than once and you STAY with him or her? You deserve a little embarrassment yourself.

Wow, just shocking :sad2: :furious:

I think she should be in a mandatory rehab until she is stock dry sober and will not touch anymore alcohol.....I don't care if it takes 5 years. Then she should serve jail time for the lives she took.

My two older sons were killed by a drunk driver. He served 4 years total. I like your plan much better. I understand alcoholism, blah, blah, blah, but if you kill someone you should be entirely accountable for it.

eta:This is pretty good too!

:thumbsup2 I completely agree.

Wasn't a law passed in NY that if you are caught drunk driving they take away your car? I thought I remembered hearing something about that but I have yet to see it happen.

I am so sorry about your sons  ! ONLY 4 years for TWO lives taken. What is this WORLD coming to? Two lives from the same family wiped out by alcohol. This is simply horrible and the driver only got FOUR years. These LAWS (if that is what you want to call them) need serious changing. :furious:
