What do you think about this political ad?

I usually don't care about celebrity endorsements for political campaigns. I'm intelligent enough to watch the candidates and make my own decision. So what Oprah et all say is only political entertainment for me. But this one I find kind of odd, not sure why, but it's almost creepy.

I know their intention is to display an ultra conservative macho message with humor but it's lost on me. Honestly, I find it scary and it turns me off completely (not that he had any chance for my vote). His comments in 1992 about isolating people with HIV and his views on gays and lesbians were bad enough. But I'm sure his target audience loves it.

I don't see humor in it at all. I don't like it and if anything find it a waste of time. Why would someone waste campaign dollars airing that sort of useless drivel?

I agree. It does have a "creepy" element.

That was just weird, at first I thought it was a joke, is it a joke?? I am still confused, it was just strange, very odd.
mike huckabee lost me many moons ago, he feels women should be subservient to men , he things HIV+ people should be isolated, he is a hunter, I can only imagine what he would want to do if he became prez. thank goodness he has a zero chance of that happening.

Well -- I'm pretty sure he wasn't gonna get my vote in a million years anyway -- so my opinion is irrelevant. BUT... (surely, nobody really expected me to stop there...LOL!)There are few things that get me as TOTALLY riled up as everybody and their best pal piling on the "immigration issue". Bunch of self-aggrandizing ethnocentric tough-guy jerks! Too bad Indians didn't have a tougher immigration policy.
