Nothing at all to stop them. I could easily see this as the beginning of Attraction Meals (phrase stolen from other DIS posters on other threads) similar to Character Meals. In Epcot, set up a buffet somewhere and let people do Frozen ride, meet the princesses, Mexico ride. Frontierland Attraction meal with buffet, Splash, Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion. They could even be the same days as the fantasyland breakfast a purple band for one land, yellow for another. Not saying I love it, but I could see them liking the idea of included base hours and monetizing all early and late offerings.
Yup. I totally agree. It's a slippery slope. And if anyone will jump on the chance to do this, it will be Disney.

I can't ever see a time when my family will do this (I can't even justify paying for five to go to a Halloween or Christmas party). But I could see how this helps to diffuse the RD crowds a bit. Basically it gets the first wave of people through the headliner attractions. So from a Operations Management perspective, I could see this helping to even out the morning rush. Maybe that will help those of us in the back who are waiting for the regular opening time with our already-expensive passes.

I know yesterday's event got glowing reviews, but I still don't see the cost/benefit, especially for a family of 4 or more. Is riding Mine Train 6 times in a row in 30 minutes really more fulfilling than riding it twice over the course of a multi-day stay (assumption based on most families hitting MK at least twice if trip is 4 or more days)? For Peter Pan, I guess there is some value in getting to see the stuff in the queue that you don't get to see with a FP, but it's still not value for the cost. As far as Pooh, I have to think that a decent percentage of the Pooh rider profile is not even big enough to ride Mine Train, which further dilutes the value.

I think it is a bit pricey. If it were $49.99 I think it would be a great deal. Being able to hit 3 attractions multiple times in an hour and still have fastpasses available for later in the day makes your day at MK a whole lot more fun. With the longer lines these days on attractions I can see people wanting to do what they can to beat the crowds at a reasonable cost.

I just don't know why this is a good idea for anyone. I have to purchase a regular admission ($110) plus an additional $69 for me to ride 3 rides and I have to be there at 7:30 in the morning......WHAT??? ...and waste time that I could be riding by eating breakfast. SO very not worth the cost!!

If you don't see the value in this event, don't do it. Some guests do see value in it for their families. Neither side is right, it depends on how you choose to spend your limited time and resources. To each his own.

I think that's the biggest problem with this ... you'd be using prime touring time to eat breakfast. I could also see it being hard for a lot of families to get there that early. Does anyone know if this event is selling a lot of tickets? It seems like there is such a limited market for it.

It depends, I read on one of the links that there was a family who rode 7DMT 6 times and Peter Pan 5 times before breakfast. I don't know about you, but to me that seems like prime touring for this event.
There is definitely a market for this event, it doesn't even take a degree or employment at Disney to figure that out, all one has to do is read about all the people making pre-park opening ADRs just to be able to get in the park before the rope droppers.

It totally depends on your situation. Admittedly, at first glance I thought EMM would be a waste of money. After reading some of the first reviews, I do think EMM may be indeed be worthwhile for those who are unable to book FP+ at 60 days, and for those who only have one MK day. That said, if EMM is offered during our July trip, I may consider coughing up the extra money because we are staying at SOG this year, and I have to book at 30 days. When MK is crazy busy EMM could be very appealing.

Keeping in mind the value is based on riding 3 attractions multiple times with no lines within one hour advance of main opening, if you really like 7DMM, PP and Pooh for extra $60-70 spend the money, but hard to see the real value to me. I could use EMH, RD and FP to get all three (and perhaps 2x for one or two of them) within one hour, without the extra cost. If riding 7DMM 5x, PP 3x and Pooh 2x, plus spending 1/2 hr during park hours eating overpriced breakfast buffet is worth it to some, so be it, but I fail to see the value and attraction personally.

Thanks for linking them. When I looked earlier, their wrote-ups weren't done yet.
Pretty funny that Josh and his commenters think eating at 8:30 is pretty insane, but Kenny ate then and thinks it was a good idea.
I guess it's just a matter of what you want to do after 9am. Josh opted to eat after riding thunder mountain. I rode Splash, Mansion and Pirates with little or no wait.

Thanks for your review!
I just think it was challenging for readers of both blogs to have to make the Sophie's choice of Disney experts, which approach to use for the key question of when to eat breakfast. It looks like maybe the takeaway is you can't go wrong either way.

I think going forward, if they expand the capacity at all, your approach might be more successful precisely because it seems counterintuitive. Therefore you're less likely to run into a potential rush on the food line at 9:45 that people choosing the "obvious" approach may encounter.

I'm definitely thinking about doing this. I'd like to get lots of pictures of our family without other people in them. Then we'll ride the rides until rope drop and then eat breakfast. My DH and DSS15 eat a lot so I think this would be worth it for us.

Anyone know how late you can buy tickets for this? Can I make a game time decision the night before?

I can see where this one could be valuable for some people but we only like Peter Pan out of the rides and we never eat that early. It isn't a good deal for just Peter Pan. :)

I am actually kind of surprised to be in the minority on this one. I am tight when it comes to spending extra money, and always try to get the biggest bang for my buck. We often do early breakfasts at Crystal Palace, which aren't cheap, but we enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the opportunity to get into the park before it opens. The photo op along Main Street is awesome.

When I consider that breakfast is part of the cost of this event, and that I'm also getting the opportunity for some photos before the park opens, plus exclusive ride time on 3 rides that generally have a long wait during normal park hours, and then, I can schedule my 3 FP+ after park opening for other attractions, this seems like a pretty decent value to me. I enjoy SDMT, would be great to snag multiple rides on that, and still have time to do Pooh, and Peter Pan, and even get to see the queue line for Peter Pan, and then use FP+ for other rides, I think it would make for a day where we would be able to get a LOT done at MK. I am currently hoping that they continue to offer this through the summer so we can try it in August!

Admission for everyone isn't $110. $110 is the price of a single day ticket. Most WDW visitors are not using single day tickets. and, nobody's required to eat the breakfast.

It seems all the Tuesday's have sold out but all Saturday's are still available. Anyone have a good guess or logical explanation for this trend?

My guess would be that Saturday is NOT a recommended day at Magic Kingdom, as far as attendance goes. (Lots of locals - being the weekend, etc)
