I am going to be at Disney for the week after Easter. My date to make my ADR is 10/25. What do you think of this plan. If you have any sugestions or think something won't work please speak up and let me know :)

Sun 4/24 (EASTER) Animal kingdom
Breakfast earliest reservation at Tusker house then dinner at Boma around 8:00 CS meal for lunch

Mon 4/25 DHS

This is the only one on which I have 2 cents to give. Last year I made reservations for Rose and Crown for an hour prior to Illuminations. Here were our issues. I couldn’t tell you if these things happen often, but this was our experience:

• Poor service. It was pretty busy when we went and we waited a long while for each course and the check. In all fairness, I think our server might have been a bit green.
• It is still busy. If your kids have to use the restroom, they will have to navigate the pub which, when we went, was packed with college kids out to get toasted. Not that I disapprove, I just wouldn’t take my little girl back during the later hours.
• While your reservation maybe time appropriate, you are not assured seating with a proper view of the show. Unless, of course, you are willing to wait quite a while. And even then, the patio became a bit of free for all once Illuminations began.

My personal suggestion – give Tokyo Dining a shot. If you end up with a window seat overlooking the water, it’s an excellent overhead view that really can’t be blocked in anyway. When we went, the food and service were great and ended up with a perfect table for Illuminations quite by accident. And if you don’t get a window table – there seemed to be less of a crowd in that pavilion anyway.

Hi Felicia,

My family and I will be checking in at the Dolphin on April 23rd. Your planned ADR's look good to me. We have some of the same plans as you. :thumbsup2We especially enjoyed the Kona Cafe. What day do we get to book our ADR's?

Tina

I definitely recommend Kona. Your choices are great! And Boma is delicious! It's one of my favorites. Make sure you are making the right choice with Rose & Crown though, it can get very busy so the service may not be very good.

HI Tina,

I think we can start making our reservations on 10/25. I can't wait!!!!!

Everyone else thanks for the suggestions and the good words about the restaraunts. I think I may change the ose and crown and see if I can get something at the new Mexico restaraunt.

Sat 4/23 Day of arrival: My son really wants to go to Garden grill I was thinking early dinner then walking around Epcot a little then heading over to DHS for 10:00 fantastic. We really like Garden Grill

Sun 4/24 (EASTER) Animal kingdom
Breakfast earliest reservation at Tusker house then dinner at Boma around 8:00 CS meal for lunch That breakfast is going to feel REALLY early after a late night at DHS, especially right after arrival day. :faint: My group is always so excited we hardly sleep the night before we leave, and then there's a late night on arrival day itself. You might want to consider a later breakfast or skipping the late Fantasmic...but everyone is different and it may work perfectly for you! :thumbsup2

Mon 4/25 DHS
Sci-fi for an early lunch and then head to the Swan (where we are staying) for dinner at Garden Grove Sci-Fi is a fun place! I really like the burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes.

Tues 4/26 Magic kingdom Early magic hour
Early lunch at the Plaza
Dinner 7:30ish Whispering Canyon haven't done this, but it looks like fun

Wed 4/27 Magic Kingdom
