I don't intend to drink so do I need my id?

If my cc is tied to my magic band do I need my cc?

I promise I've done this before. I was very organized about it. Now I can't remember what I did or how I did it. (I blame my kids.)

My advice is to always take an alternate form of payment and identification. They have had problems in the past where the magic band readers were working in restaurants and such.

I always bring a small cross body bag with ID, phone (doubles as my camera), cash and some band-aids. Unless you're planning on leaving any tips on your credit card, I wouldn't worry about bringing your CC.

My diaper bag is a different story. That thing is packed for the apocalypse.

I wouldn't go without an ID, especially if you have kids. Weird stuff happens, better to have it than not. Lots of people don't bring their CC, but that is not something I have been willing to try.

I always bring my ID, a cc and a small amount of cash. I like to have the cc as a back-up to the magic band and cash as a back up to the cc. To me, the little bit of effort it takes to carry those items is worth it if readers go down and we need something to eat or drink.

I bring my wallet, MB, maybe some gum and maybe some koolaid singles. The best park days are the days you don't have to lug stuff around.

I bring my wallet (ID & cc), phone, and portable phone charger. It's nice to know I can charge my phone as I use it throughout the day.

I take ID (I drive so have my DL on my anyway), a CC and $20. Normally not needed at all, but I like having it tucked away in my backpack just in case.

At the very least, you should always have your ID with you just incase, if anything happens with your MB and you end up having to go to Guest Relations or Resort Front Desk, they are going to ask for your ID to verify your identity.. It is also good to have an alternative method of payment (either cash or a CC) in the event that your MB doesn't work (sometimes there a technical issues as with any technology), the last thing that you want to happen is that you get your check at a table service restaurant, your MB doesn't work, you have no alternative method of payment, and then you end up in an awkward situation.

I don't go anywhere without a picture ID, a credit card, and a small amount of "just in case" cash. I even have a waterproof wallet so I have it on me if I'm in a waterpark or scuba diving or something

Thank you!

I will have a backpack that will be the diaper bag. I'll toss some cash and ID in there. My dh will have his wallet at any and all table service meals so we should be good.

Oh, and yeah, I have packing a diaper bag down to a science. I can produce all wonders of unusual items from the diaper bag, just in case of emergency!

I always have a small sunscreen, money, ID, credit card, water, a visor to wear, chapstick, phone in a ziplock bag (for Splash Mountain or anything else wet), and a snack size ziplock with a few bandaids. Nothing will ruin a day faster than blisters, and often the first aid station is a long way away. I usually bring a few healthy snacks also so we don't end up having fries or something else greasy because we are hungry.

its always a good idea to have ID on you.

you'll want your CC in case your MB does not work for one reason or another (it has happened to my sister)

lately i've tried to pare down what i bring.
last trip in december using a vera bradely hipster i brought
-wallet/ID/cash/CC/insurance card (actually pretty important as i realized in my april trip when i fell and needed to go to urgent care for stitches)
-phone
-travel size hair brush
-chap stick
-rain poncho
-eye glasses case for my HS day
-little travel size plastic jar from walmart travel section with OTC pills like advil
-flashlight (didn't need it because i had my sister to hold onto in dark lighting but i had used it in april and it was very helpful then so i figured just in case)

i wore a hat and i put sunscreen on before i left the hotel.

i may be able to go bagless but i wouldn't really want to. i like having those things with me.

As little as possible... no joke.

If driving I leave my license in the car, otherwise it stays in the room. We charge everything to our bands, and before that to the KTTWcards. In all of our park days, the system only went down once and that was for all charging ie. cash only, so the CC's stay in the room safe unless we're going outside WDW.

We usually do carry small park bags since when we go the temperature changes (drastically sometimes) during the day. That way we can stuff our sweaters in them when it gets warmer. We also often carry a change of shoes, some tylenol, bandaids and lip balm, tissues as well as our phones. But if we're going just for the night,we don't even take those. Just our phones and magic bands and maybe $20 if we're feeling cautious.

In our experience MB's either work or don't work, or sometimes don't work very well. They don't just stop working unless they're older ones.

I can save you one more thing... most phones have a flashlight app,and it works better than most flashlights with variable brightness.

my sister's worked in the mexico pavilion and then did not work 15 minutes later in the norway pavilion.
it was not old.
she needed to take out her CC in order to buy something.
she then had to get a new MB because the CM's could not figure out why it suddenly would not work at all.

i know my phone has a flashlight.
its not good enough.
i am visually impaired and have limited to no night vision.
i did quite a bit of research on which semi small flashlights were brightest and most powerful for my solo trip last april.
it worked out great for me in dark lines and at night.
i now keep it in my purse 24/7 and don't feel weird using it when i need to.

We always bring an extra credit card in case of emergencies and our IDs. If it's going to rain I bring extra socks. Other than that we bring a water bottle, sunglasses (in a case *** I have to swap from regular glasses), sunscreen to reapply, and an autograph book. That's about it! If I could figure out a way to carry the water bottle, I'd probably go bagless.

Definitely bring ID and CC. When we were there 2 years ago the entire MB/FP+ system went down and we needed to use CC for meals. FP+ was a nightmare but that's a whole other issue...Even getting into the park that morning (DHS) was awful. Nobody's MB worked the CM's were scrambling with ipads looking it all up!
