Hey there! I am trying to book a trip though our DVC points over Christmas/new years and its only allowing me to do 7 days- is that normal?

Yes it is normal.

Today is 1/19/26 meaning you can start booking for 12/19/26.

You can only book 7 days at once at the 11 month window.

Today you can book with a check in date of 12/19 checking out on 12/26.

Tomorrow you can modify it to add the next day so check-in 12/19 and check out on 12/27.

You will need to do this until you have your desired dates if you are going more than 7 days.

Yes…you can continue to add days.

Okay cool- is there a penalty for removing days? As of right now we want to stay for both- but that could change closer to Christmas- I dont know when the kids pagent is for next year haha so we might wind up leaving the 26th .

As long as you make any decisions at least 31 days prior to the trip, there is no penalty.

All points are returned to you in the same status as they were used in the reservation.

If you borrow points, those points will stay in the UY of the trip, and not put back to their original UY.
