I'm planning on packing a change of clothes, all our "important" info, and the camera.

What are some other things you prefer to pack as carry on and not as check in luggage?

I pack id and other important stuff, a book, and our camera--I figure everything else is replaceable. I either do carryon-completely(down to the undies, etc) or it all gets checked! Replacements may be expensive, but such is life! One week to go!!!

My id, my tickets, my copies of reservations, my wdw annual passes, a comb, a brush, a book, my reading glasses, Dee's book (not that he stays awake to read it) and that is it.
He carries the laptop, the digital camera and accessories (NOT THE TRIPOD) and that is it.

One of the most important things to have in it, is a clean change of underwear!:D

All my reservation papers, tickets, camera, extra glasses, a bottle of water/pop, tylenol, kleenex, lipchap for the dry plane air, book. extra film and I have a plastic clip watch that I attach to my purse.

We have a "freedom bag" that we got from QVC. It has a bunch of pockets and folds out and keeps all your little stuff like deodorant, sunscreen, shampoo (trial size), etc. We keep everything in there between trips so it's ready for the next trip, we just check it before we go to see if anything needs replaced. When it's zipped up, it's the size of an average to large purse.

Tickets, money, passport, travellers cheques, camcorder, change of clothes, drinks, snacks, gameboy, walkman, book.

Don't forget to put RX in your carry on and not in your checked luggage!!

Yup, we have the Freedom Bag too, and carry all our toiletries in it. We also carry on our camera, all passes, paperwork, swimsuits to change into if the room is not ready, magazines, and miscellaneous. :D

I pack my ID, medicine, camara and film, batteries, tickets, guide book,cd player and some cds, breakfast for my stay at WDW, and a lightweight jacket

And don't forget the purse!

My husband carries a 21" duffel with all of the life necessities (toiletries, meds, sunscreens, etc., camcorder, his and my swimsuits, pool shoes, and anything else I can cram into it). The kids each carry a bag that has their swimsuit, cover-up, and poolside shoes as well as their personal needs, i.e., GameBoys, books, ear planes, etc. I carry my purse with the essentials of life $$, credit cards, lipstick. . .and my DC bag that has the really important stuff--res confirmations, PS itinerary, limo confirmation, PAP, etc. . .

The bulk is checked and is usually one large pullman bag for the entire trip.

I was really glad I packed this way two years ago when NW lost our luggage on a nonstop flight to Orlando. We didn't get our luggage until after 6:00 p.m. and we wanted to swim that afternoon because we'd already spent a lovely a.m./early afternoon at a sweltering AK and needed a refresher before dinner. Since the luggage arrived late, we didn't have a change of clothes for Chef Mickey's. To further complicate our arrival day, our concierge room wasn't ready until after 6:00 p.m.--that was not one of our better check-in days! :p

Medications if you have any. Also a CD player so I can listen to music during the flight. Listing to a Disney music CD keeps me relaxed on the plane ride down.
