What do you love about Disney?

I see many people with happy tears in their eyes there. I know its not just me who loves this place this much. I tear during Spectromagic - I even got the CD to listen to all year round!

I agree with everyone else, it's seeing the castle for the first time every trip that makes me all goose bumpy too!!! I can't help but hear the song .... "I'm walkin' right down the middle of Main Street USA".....:rolleyes1

The innocence of Disney, too that makes us all 5 years old again and all our "grown up" problems disappear if only for a few days!:earsboy:

this is such a nice thread....

not to be sappy but I too remember watching disney every sunday night and hoping i could go to disneyland ( since wdw didn't exist yet) and the feeling I got when we went for the first time and we were able to take our kids there was great...

not that it is the most important thing in life ( I'm not THAT nutty!) but it does make you feel good..it irritates me when people knock it or feel it is "beneath" them as in they are just to sophisticated to enjoy it, especially since they usually haven't tried it.

First off I am a Theme Park Junky. I love Theme Parks; rides, food, the whole atmosphere.
At Walt Disney World there are so many entertainment options right at your fingertips. Everything is so close to you and you don't have to travel very far to find something spectacular and fun. This to me makes WDW a great place for vactioning.
To me WDW appeals to every age group, big and little. It's a place that families can get together and have a great time because it appeals to everybody's tastes.
The theming at WDW is the best in the world. I can't get enough of it. Everytime I am there I just soke in the atmosphere and theming. I feel like I have been transported somewhere totally different than I am used to. I think you all know what I am talking about. It's a break from reality. It's getting a way from the daily routine and emersing yourself in a fairytale.
I love the weather, food and rides. It's among the best in the world.
I have many more reasons why I love WDW, but these are among my favorites.
ADP :D

I have to concer with many others coming out from the train station and looking down mainstreet at cindy's castle. that said nothing better than watching the looks from my kids every time we go its like the first time i went.

What's not to love about Disney? It's an awesome place where you can get away for a week and enjoy yourself. WDW isn't like any other amusment park .... It goes the extra mile to make things perfect and magical . I also love how their attractions are so unique. Like the rides always have great story lines and everytime you step off the ride you can't wait to do it again. It's not like any other amusement park. It doesn't have twenty different rollercoasters that are all the same, I'm not saying i don't like rollercoasters. But that's the thing you can ride rollercoasters at home but in WDW they have the best rides that no one else in the World has, that's what makes WDW so special!:wave2:

I love EVERYTHING about Disney. I've been trying to get my husband to go to Disney for several years, and he has always been one of "those" people that decided that he wouldn't appreciate Disney although he hadn't been there (yes, I thought he was JOKING when he had said that when we were dating)! Anyways, although my children (from first marriage) and I had been there several times, he had not. This year, when I asked him again if we could go. . .he said YES!!!!!
And, he's actually excited--though he still tries to downplay that a bit! I'm SO excited--I haven't been there since 1999 or 2000!
