What do you like to wear to the parks???

A vest top or tankini top and shorts and sliders or Adidas climacools. In January visits I take a sweatshirt too. Must make the most of the sunshine! We dont have a lot of it.

Interesting timing of this thread! I just went shopping yesterday for clothes for my May trip. I picked up five pair of cargo types shorts (same style, just different colors--kacki, olive, navy, denim, and pink). I also picked up four pair of cotton capris and four either sleeveless or almost sleeveless (small ruffle sleeves) cotton crinkle gauze blouses. I'll be carrying a few cotton T-shirts and two pair of Teva flip flops and a pair of Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals. I have a small WDW backpack I bought when I was there in May that will have sunscreen, body glide, mole skin, bandaids, a cap, cheap rain poncho, camera, and a few small snacks in it. My water bottle and Pal Mickey will be attached. I'll have a lanyard around my neck with park ticket, DDE card, room key, and a few bucks in it and a small water fan attached to it. With sunglasses on my head I should be set.

When I went in early January I packed for both hot and cold weather. Won't do that again as the second suitcase didn't even get opened. We wore shorts, T-shirts, and Teva sneakers everyday but the last when we wore jeans, T-shirts, fleece pullovers, and Teva sneakers.

Warm Weather - Cut-offs or khaki shorts & a tank or fitted tee, sandals, sometimes a Disney Ballcap.I carry a sarong in my bag for ultra cold A/C moments.

Cold weather - Same with a sweatshirt. If really cold, shorts get changed to capris or jeans. I rarely wear running shoes, it has to be very cold for that. I like to keep my feet cool.

Rain - I have a rain anorak I got at AK when it first opened that folds into a little pouch - That's my rain gear.

We usually going during the summer months, so I wear shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, etc. When we go out to dinner, I'll wear capris and sandals with a nicer top.

I always wear tennis shoes in the parks...can't do the sandals when I'm walking so much! Ouch!

And my hair is always either in a ponytail or in two pigtail braids! (i know...pigtails...sad but true)

Usually jeans (I don't do shorts!) and a t-shirt or tank top. I usually tie a sweatshirt around my waist in case it gets cool inside AC'd buildings. I usually wear my hiking boots (they're my most comfy shoes) or sandals. Hair is usually pulled back in a ponytail.

I have also seen women walking around in high heeled hoochie mama boots and clothes that look like they hurt from being so tight. To each their own, but I honestly can not imagine being comfortable in pointy spiky heels and and outfit that looks like it's about to burst...

Last week I wore jeans a polo tee-shirts during the day and a hoodie at night, but it rained all day Wednesday and I wore like 4 shirts and a hoodie. And the infamous poncho.

In summer I usually wear shorts and a tank top. I wore really thin bottomed flip flops that gave me no support at all, but it was okay because my feet weren't hot. One day it was well above 100 degrees and I just had to wear my bathing suit top around for two hours or so.

::MinnieMo Going at easter time, so could be cool and could be hot. I typically pack shorts and T's for everyday, with capri's and tank tops in case it hot or cool. A hooded zip sweatshirt to wear if the morning or evenings are cold. Wear either Tennis shoes or flip/sandals to the park, which one I don't wear is usually in my backpack in case I want to switch later. This year I bought a couple of casual skirts (not mini's, yet not long) that you can wear with a tanks or T's.......I couldn't resist they looked so cute at the store! :cheer2:

chandalier earrings, perhaps an ankle bracelet

Hop efully everyone will see my butterfly tattoo above my hinnie :rotfl: :rotfl: and as the grand finale...to celebrate the 50th anniversary, I will shave my p***s into the shape of Mickey's face!

I wear khaki style, cargo or jean shorts most of the trip during the day, in the evenings I tend to dress a little better for dinner. Short sleeve Polo style shirts and I take a couple of GREAT pair's of walking shoes plus I carry sunscreen with me so I can reapply after lunch or whenever I need it.

Disney t-shirt (usually Tower :rotfl: ) black jeans, hi-tops, possibly a wristband and/or spike-y bracelet :teeth:

I'm sure I am one of those people some of you look at funny. I wear short dresses to WDW with shorts underneath that match. I teach preschool and hate jeans because they don't flex much for gettting up and down off the floor. So my mom started making me these little dresses with the matching shorts, kind of like sun suits for little ones. I LOVE them. They are the most comfortable clothes I own. So I wear those. They are sometimes I little flashy, or like fancy (since I like sparkely soft fabric) but they are very comfortable.

Shorts, halter top, gym shoes are my favorite. Wish I could always wear this. :sunny:

Depends on which park, and time of year.

In the summer I usually wear a loose t shirt and cotton shorts with sandals. If I am planning on riding Kali River rapids or it is rainy, I will wear my bathing suit and shorts. I have even been known to wear my bathing suit that is the one piece kind that has the skirt (looks like a short sundress).

In the cooler months I like wearing my overalls with a short sleeve shirt and take a jacket with me. I also wear my Nurture loafers with socks

When it is even cooler, then jeans, and a sweatshirt and my Nurture loafers with socks.

I'm a bit older than a lot of the ladies on these boards. I wear long bermuda shorts, or culottes, short sleeved tops (including my DIS shirt), low white socks and Nike walking shoes. And I also wear a waist pouch with my lime green ribbons tied to it, and my pin lanyard. Oh, and sun glasses and a visor too. WDW is the only vacation we take that I'll wear something other than a skirt (not practical on the rides) or slacks (too warm for FL).

In warm weather I wear a short sleeve short, comfortable pull on type with jean shorts and either my Nikes and socks or sandals. If it is really hot I wear a baseball hat with Mickey on it and of course my fanny pack, I always wear that...

When it is cold I wear jeans and my short sleeve shirt normally, but with a sweater over it and I bring another light coat to layer over it for the evenings if it gets really cold. Dump the extra clothes in the lockers when it gets warm and I am good to go... :sunny:

Hi,
When my family went to WDW in December for Christmas i didn't know what the weather would be like so i packed for little of every thing....I'm a dresssy person so i enjoy dressing up most of the time....So i first started off with some dressy outfits after the first half day of that i changed into casual wear...For the rest of our stay i wore either capri's, shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tanks and i can't forget my hoody to keep me warm at night...As for shoes i did bring some dressy sandals not heels but they were killing my feet so i went to the New Balance sneakers what a difference....I learn fast after my first visit stay in WDW...
For my families next trip i'm going for comfort....

LOL LOL LOL My poor DH is relaxing in the other room in front of the TV and he must be wondering what in the world I am doing out here cracking up! The funniest part about your "choice of park attire" is that there probably is someone out there who would actually try a similar "ensemble"!! Thanks for the laughs!

OK so i just went shopping yesterday, and everything I looked at I thought "Can I wear this to Disney?" or "this would be perfect to wear at Disney!" Does anyone do that? I definitely have Disney on the brain :earboy2: I went to American Eagle, I like their stuff. It's casual and comfortable. I got a short cargo skirt - actually it's a mini, but b/c I'm short it's not quite that mini on me! it's got front/back pockets (i think pockets are a MUST for a mommy!). Definitely NOT skanky, I promise :p Also got some sporty track-style capris. I wore them around and they are SO comfortable! And I got some simple T-shirts. They fitted, and are really cute and also comfy. SOOO excited for our trip now!

Just had a thought- and maybe people do this already?-but wouldn't it be nice to walk around in your PJ's? But then again, I think about the women that would come in their lingerie and men in their boxers :earseek:
