What do you hate about Disney?

Okay, I'm in the Hall of Presidents last saturday at the MK around 7pm (March 12) and the crowd "booed" and "cheered" for their favorite presidents. (Both political parties by the way) It was an on-going thing throughout the show. When did this become acceptable behavior? I sat there quietly while yucky people ruined my experience of the show. :sad2:

Now that really does suck!!!

Damn, to boo a Disney attraction like that. My DS (then 6) hated it, but can still tell me what he learned about it today!! Sorry this happened to you!! :guilty:

The Leave a Legacy at Epcot. Reminds me of a memorial/cemetery

the busses and how they are still such a pain to get on in an ECV (as well as the people on the bus complaining about how long it takes to load then not moving for me to sit down, yes I've had to STAND on the way to the park because we are not allowed to sit in our ECV's)

That's pathetic on so many different levels.

This will be my DD5's 2nd trip but it will be her 1st to THOP. I really hope that doesn't happen while we're there.

The crowds, plain and simple! I tend to get clausterphobic and need my breathing space... so usually we try to go into the least crowded parks and avoid high volume times.

They need to return to trainning these CMs alot better then what they have been over the last few years, you can't pass on the Disney Magic to a new employee in just a few hours.... I have seen some of the newer CMs with just a nasty outlook on life. If Disney would return to the way they use to train the new folks... I think alot of the bad comments they receive on some of the CMs would drop bigtime...

The water in the water fountains. Ewww. It smells nasty, it tastes nasty, and it's warm. I always end up hauling bottles of water from home, and it's such a hassel.

The shows are too loud, my ears are always ringing after the Country Bear Jamboree, and my daughter of course wants to see it 50 million times.

The disorder waiting for a parade or firework show. I'm not sure how it can be done better, but it does annoy me that after we've waited an hour for the perfect spot, another family pops in at the last minute and either stands right in front of us, or crowds us so much that we can't stand next to it and watch the show.

I really don't mind the crowds, that's a part of the happiest place on earth! We went last fall during the whole hurricane debacle, and the parks were so empty, it didn't feel like Disney.

And I'm with the other poster on the Animal Kingdom. Why is that the hottest park on the planet??

Regarding the Animal Kingdom being hotter than the other parks, my guess would be it's because the walkways are narrower there with lush foliage on either side. This can prevent the breezes from blowing through.

I hate the way the shorten the hours and cut parades during the "off" season. I'm paying every bit as much to get in as people traveling during peak times, but I'm not getting the same services. It doesn't seem fair to me.

Crazy families with those damn strollers ... if I have had 1 run up the back of my leg, I have had 100 of them. If you are taking a stroller please don't run other people over with it!

I hate the lack of vegetarian food offered in the parks, I havent been since 2001 so it might have got better but whenever I have been its been a struggle to find anything to vegetarian to eat esp in the snack places where its all burgers and hotdogs!

I hate people who don't slide all the way down and sit right in the middle for shows like Muppets 3D, Little Mermaid, Honey I shrunk the Audience...these type of shows.
I hate how things are different in the summer(peak) than in the spring(slow) times. i.e. I was looking forward to 4 for a $1 before the B&B show last week but they didn't come out. Are they still there?
I hate that Animal Kingdom doesn't have the "spoke wheel" design layout like MK. You go in one land and have to come out to go into another. There is no conneting back paths. Too much unnecessary walking.
I hate the Jeff Gordon bus drivers who turn corners like they was drivin the bat mobile.

I hate poor crowd managment of the line to the monorail at night. If you don't jostle and shove to get to the top, everyone else will pass you by. I was so disgusted how people acted, linking hands, and saying exuse me as they walked past you????? I was like, we are waiting for the same thing, you know! I never wanted to stay at a monorail hotel again.

IMHO, only a complete and utter loser would do this. On either side. This happened on our last trip too. It's so pathetic and sad. WTH is wrong with people??? If I was with someone who did this, I'd get up and leave. How astoundingly immature is that???

I'm not a big fan of at least one of our recent presidents (*hint, not the *most* recent one...) but I still respect the office of the president and I would NEVER behave in such a way during a classic WDW attraction meant to educate people , some who are visiting from other countries, about American History.

Assuming the booers were American citizens, in my case they very much seemed to be, what kind of message does it send to visitors from other countries when you are booing and mocking your own leader during a WDW attraction?

Sorry for the rant. I'm one who has very little tolerance for morons and the people who boo at any president during The Hall of Presidents are pretty high up there on the periodic table of idiots...
