What do you grill?

We too have a natural gas grill and I am out there year round. Aside from meat and fish, our favorite thing on the grill is pizza! We replaced our old grill last year and the new one give me a lot of control and the pizzas have been excellent.

We will grill just about anything...but smoking is another story. It has to be special if I can convince DH to baby the fire for hours on end. We smoked a brisket for the 4th :lovestruc

I enjoy grilled food but I'm not a big fan of actually cooking it.;) Something that always turns out way better on the grill is salmon. With almost no preparation or effort you can have a meal that is near or better than restaurant quality.:)

Steak
Burgers
Hot dogs
Ribs (partial)
Chicken of various kinds including a whole chicken
Pizza

We also use ours year round. In addition to the standbys, we grill vegetables a lot - lately summer squash and zucchini cut lengthwise, brushed with a little olive oil, and sprinkled with a little salt, pepper and garlic powder. So good.

I was just looking up recipes for squash besides squash and eggs or I add it to cut up potatoes and cook. That sounds yummy! I have 2 ready to be plucked and I am sure by morning there will be 4 more!

I love to grill. I cook almost anything on the grill. I have discovered that grilled cherry tomatoes are THE BEST. Omg... They get a little smoky flavor and nice and sweet... Yum!

I love cooking on the grill !
As mentioned all kinds of meats, plus things like pineapple, zucchini, corn, etc.

A few of my favorite have been individual pineapple upside down cakes and whenever we camp we almost always has some sort of foil pack for dinner.

I'm sorry, but in our family I do the grilling, not DH. He hardly ever cooks a regular meal, needs lots of instructions for simple meals, why would he magically know how to grill well ? It's not rocket science, but he is the king of grilling anything on high high heat, turning it over and pressing it vigorously.....so dry and overcooked. Now I'm teaching our DD how to do simple things on the grill, and DH just says - Good Job Honey !

I'm another that does mostly meat. Year round And I grill even if its 5 degrees and snowing out.

I’m the griller in the family (I tease hubby that he doesn’t even know how to start it up!)
I grill the usual meats & veggies. Also potatoes in foil and peaches/nectarines

Last night we tried a recipe from Katie Lee and did Buffalo wings on the grill, they turned out so delicious.
We had never tried wings before, it was a nice change and a big hit.

i won't eat grilled food, tastes awful to me. i have yet to meet a person that agrees.

I've grilled almost every day this week! - Chicken on Monday, hot dogs on Wednesday, and swordfish last night. (We ate out Tuesday - family movie date.)

And now I've got to try the zucchini/summer squash idea mentioned upthread!

(and those I think I can figure out) - But how do you do these:

I have discovered that grilled cherry tomatoes are THE BEST. Omg... They get a little smoky flavor and nice and sweet... Yum!

...some sort of basket or tray??

We bought a smoker last summer and our poor grill is just sitting there in the sun.

We smoke almost all meals now: chicken, fish, pork, nachos, mac and cheese. I even smoked apple pies for the 4th!

All kinds of meat, veggies (prosciutto wrapped asparagus is a favorite), fruit (pineapple & peaches), flatbread pizzas, kebabs...

We grill year 'round. All kinds of steak, different burger creations, chicken parts or whole chickens rotisseried or spatchcock, brats, pork chops, tri tip...when sweet corn is in season I shuck it and just roll it over the coals until seared.View attachment 335067

We have the same grill, just a slightly different model (2014 maybe). When we lived in Washington it looked the same way when cooking during the winter.
