What do you get when you cross High School with Disney? This Trip Report, of course!

Hello DISers! I am Abby, more commonly known as Baby. I pretty much live on the Teen Board but I enjoy lurking elsewhere. I thought I would give this whole trip report writing thing a shot! Hopefully I can provide a humorous and entertaining outlook on my trip. I’ll try not to bore you all to tears (if anyone actually reads this…). I hope that you find my TR unique because…it’s a Disney Magical Music Day’s trip! Yay! I haven’t ever seen one written on here (I could be wrong though) so I’ll give this a shot.

So here are the basics:

Okay, so. There are a LOT of characters in here because well…over 100 kids went on the trip. Yikes! I’m going to include brief bios on my group.

Me - I’m Abby! At the time of the trip I was a junior in chorus, soprano 1. Whee. I’m Disney obsessed. My friends make fun of me for it. Aka Belle

Amanda - Amanda was a junior at the time of our trip. She’s an alto 1 in chorus. She was one of my roommates. Amanda was my “rebellious teenage sister.” (That will be explained later on.) Aka Jasmine.

Kaitlyn - Kaitlyn was also a junior at the time of our trip. She’s a soprano 1 in chorus and chorale. She was also my roommate. The mother of our group! She woke everyone up in the morning and got us moving. Aka Sleeping Beauty

Lauren - Lauren was also a junior at the time of our trip. She’s an alto 1 in chorus. Once again, she’s a roomie. She has probably been on more Disney trips than the rest of our group. She loves it but isn’t as obsessed as me. Miss Lucky. She made so many bets during this trip…and won all of them. Aka Cinderella

The Boys:
Ben- Ben was a freshman at the time of our trip. He plays the trumpet in band and is a bass 1 in chorus. Ben is my best guy friend but due to his relationship status, he spent all of his time with his girlfriend (aka ketchup…ahem ). Roomed with Paco, Nick, and Shoemaker (aka not appearing in this trip report). Aka Beast

Josh “Paco”- Paco was a freshman at the time of our trip. He is a tenor 2 in chorus. His name may be Josh but all the upperclassmen refer to him as Paco. The funny thing is though, nobody knows why. It started one summer during Stage Door (a theatre camp lots of my friends attend) and it just stuck. Roomed with Ben and Nick. Aka Prince Charming

Nick- Nick was a freshman at the time of our trip. He plays the viola in orchestra. Nick just came along for the ride. We weren’t really expecting him to hang out with us but due to his recent break-up, we soon enough figured out his intentions. (This is high school, remember! There is tons of “who is dating whom” and just plain juicy drama!) Roomed with Ben and Paco.

Ryan- Ryan was a sophomore at the time of our trip. He is a tenor 2 in chorus and chorale. He…you know, I don’t really know what to say about him. He’s just…Ryan. Roomed with random people. Aka Aladdin

And last but definitely not least…

Andrew- Andyrew was a sophomore at the time of our trip. He is a tenor 1 in chorus and plays the violin in the orchestra. Andrew is quite the comedian. He provided us with some humorous moments during the trip. FYI: We don’t call him by his first name but rather his last. However for safety purposes (as his last name is uncommon) I will be referring to him as Andrew. Roomed with…? Aka Prince Phillip

You may be noticing we have a prince/princess thing going on. Hold your horses. I’ll get to explaining that in the near future!

And because I feel like I need to mention them…
My Lovely Family: Mom, Dad, and Doofus (I mean…Adam).
They came down for the trip as well and not only did they stay at the Wilderness Lodge *is jealous*, they ate at Biergarten, a place I’ve been dying to try. *is even more jealous*

Now I’m done boring you with all of that. Let the Disney excitement, drama, and juiciness begin!
