What do you do?

I work at Target, but Im going to school to get into early child hood education, my hobbies besides Disney include WWE, Comic books (including peanuts), Reading, and watching movies :cool1:

My name is Tara and I am an Operations Manager for a recruitment firm here in Australia. I am also studying a business degree at university so I don't have a lot of spare time on my hands at the moment. When I do, besides visiting these boards, I love scrapbooking my Disney holidays, going to the beach with DH and DD and planning Disney holidays!

:goodvibes

Hi! My name is Kerry, I became a Disney addict shortly after moving to SoCal 2 years ago. I was born and raised in Wa, lived in the Seattle area from the time I was 3. Now I live 74 miles from Disneyland and am taking full advantage!

I am a customer service rep for a mortgage company, mom to 15 year old and a 21 year old daughters, and grandma to an adorable 6 month old baby girl.

I used to be an avid scrapbooker, but am currently short on both time and space, so that's on hold for now.

I've been a RN since 1985, I currently work in hospital administration where I oversee nursing, admissions, pharmacy, RT, lab, x-ray,and clinical nutrition.I am a recent empty nester, married for 22 years, and my hobbies are reading and succulent gardening!
I am much less boring than I sound :)

Fun question!

My name is Erin and I am an animal trainer at the San Diego Zoo, working primarily with birds :)

I moved to SoCal in Jan. '09 from WA, by way of FL, by way of PA, by way of CO lol, because of my husband (in the military) and became a Disneyland PAP holder shortly after. I try to go at least once a month :)

My name is Paula, I'm an RN. I'm a Med-Surg nurse but I also float to the Mother-Baby unit. I've been an RN for 2.5 years. Prior to that I held misc jobs and before moving to CA I was a Marketing Assistant and got to do fun posters and stuff for a bank.

I am also a frugal person. I even tried doing a blog to share ways to save money but it was consuming all my time so I gave it up. Plus my hubby was upset that I was buying so much cereal and other things and nobody in our house eats them besides myself. I currently have over a dozen boxes of cereal that I essentially got for free in the house. I also have about a dozen razors and bottles of body wash... I've donated lots to a non-profit as well. I think I went a bit overboard :confused3 The good news is I haven't done any shopping for over a month so I think I've saved a lot of money that way as well :woohoo:

So besides trying to save money I like to hang out on the internet. I like rubber stamping (Ie my dis name) and scrapbooking. I like to read and am thinking I'll bring my kindle along on my DL trip for reading in line on my solo days.

Oh... and if I live closer I would be at DL at least monthly! But alas I have not even been once despite being only 6 hours away

I have been going to Disney all my life and love it more now than ever. I have a DS4 and the most amazing, awesome DH35. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom! We do preschool at home, are super involved in our church, and love taking bike rides. My biggest passion outside of my family is writing music, playing the guitar, and singing. Love it!! I also enjoy reading, the gym, the beach, drinking as much coffee as possible in the day, and spending time with my son and hubbs.:goodvibes

Great thread!

My name is Teri. I'm married with 4 crazy kids. We're all Disney addicts! I just started the most amazing part time job. I work for a company that merchandises for Walt Disney Home Entertainment. So I get to order and display the Disney movies at lots of local stores. I love it! I only work about 10 hours per week, but it helps fund the Disney madness!!

:goodvibes Hello my name is Sonya. I am a Chef and a Pure Romance consultant. In my spare time I write cook books for Gastric Bypass Patients. I had the surgery a year ago this past august. I love to hang out here on the Dis. I love to watch youtube videos with my kids. I think that's it for now lol Oh and I graduate from college see ticker.

My name is Michelle. I am an Office Manager for a Manufacturing Company. I am the only female there, so I get to boss all the male employees around.:lmao:
I have 2 awesome children who are total Disney lovers, to the point of them both having Disney tattoos. I am also a Nanna to a fantastic 18 month old boy.
We have just come back from a week in August...it was very hot & busy. We are planning a trip for next November to see the Xmas decorations.
People in Australia dont seem to understand the whole DL experience, so it is nice that we have found this board to chat to like minded people.
On weekends I volunteer with mentally disabled people & take them out to social events like bowling, movies, dinner etc. It is very rewarding. Other than that I love to cook and potter around my house looking after my family.

I am a child advocate of sorts. I work with at risk teens in the community teaching them coping skills and basic skills to assist with their rehabilitation.
I am mother to 2 wonderful children one ds one dd.

I work at a car tuning shop. We do anything from basic tune ups to custom body work, paint, audio, etc.

I'm in charge of the online commerce of the shop, but I also get my hands dirty at the same time, when my boss needs me lol.

Not too far away from Disneyland. :D

Also..my hobbies are pretty much what my job involves. Cars. That, and whatever else comes along that I find exciting, I'll try.

Thanks CaiMakale for the fun thread.....as for me.....

I'm a 1st grade teacher after teaching many years in 4th grade. I love my little darlings. They are the highlight of my day. I started my adult life with a degree and great career in marketing from the University of Utah. After having my children and volunteering in their school I decided I wanted to be a teacher. So, I went back to school and ended up with a degree in Elementary education and English. I'm married to a fabulous man who works for an amazing company as a project manager. We have three kids DS 15, DS 10, and DD 7. Yes, DD is a spoiled rotten princess.

In my spare time I love to read, sew, learn about and share wine with my friends and family, interior decorating, and photography. I also love football and baseball. We are die hard University of Utah and New York Yankees fans at my house (all except the 15 year old who is a Red Sox fan just to spite us...) We love him anyway. :)

Thanks so much for a great thread. It's fun to get to know you all.

My name is Caitlin, I am 19 and work as a Reception and Administration Manager for a Data storage and recovery company. I live in Sydney, Australia but want to live in America more than anything!!

I spend a lot of time with my family and friends, I love musicals and baking. I live with my dad and my mini lop bunny Thumper and spend most of my days on the DIS :rotfl:

I'm an RN currently working on a Tele/Stroke Unit. We float to different units except NICU, L&D, etc. I put in a transfer to a purely Tele floor so I can concentrate more on cardiac so I won't be doing neuro for awhile. I plan to go back to school next year to get my Masters hopefully with a concentration in something with Neurosciences as I'd like to get back to neuro later. I also volunteer my time with dhv/medical reserve corps.
My hobbies are surfing, hiking...I'm pretty much game for any fun outdoor activity. I'm slightly obsessed with zombies. I've been that way since I watched old zombie flicks when I was a little girl. I was drawing escape routes and sketching out floorplans for zombie proof fortresses and transportation whenever I got my hands on a pen and any paper. I also love to read and I've been without television for almost 2 years. I'll watch TV at other people's homes, but I haven't felt like I've missed anything until my friend let me borrow her Glee Season 1 on DVD. That has weakened my resolve to stay away from Television. LOL!
I'm a disney fanatic often finding myself being teased for my obsession, but I don't care and I tell people I love Disney because Disney rocks, so there. My new "pinsanity" has garnered a lot of criticism, but I like "pretty shiny things". LOL!

I am currently working two jobs; one as a retail wireless consultant (cell phones and wireless internet sales) for US Cellular and the other is my ACTUAL job that I like and don't have just to pay the bills which is on the marketing team of a music production company. I spend my free time traveling the country seeing concerts and traveling with different bands. I sell merchandise, work on marketing for shows and pretty much do anything I can for concerts. Also in the process of currently planning a big life changing move, quitting my job and just moving back to California to start over

In a way I work two jobs, one paid the other unpaid. My paid job is in banking, have worked in all sorts of areas- management, HR etc- and am now working as a teller in a little branch close to home because of the unpaid 'job'. My father has numerous health issues starting with diabetes, which led to a partial foot amputation due to gangrene, then he developed kidney failure and is on dialysis 3 days a week. He also has hypertension, had a heart attack last year and they found he needed a quadruple bypass - sounds callous but it was good timing as he went in 4 days before my last trip so he was in hospital the whole time I was away and in excellent hands. Really I work so I can travel and at the moment I'm doing as much as I can before dads health deteriorates to a further.

I'm the mom to a 14 year old girl, and 5 year old boy. The age gap has been interesting! We live at the beach and love anything outdoors. There is a minor Disney addiction here...have AP's, DVC...just doing our part for our Disney stock :rotfl: During the baseball season we go to a lot of Angels games. Kind of addicted to checking Facebook too. Always cool to see the "I'm going to Disneyland" posts.

We own a private security company and I do all the behind the scenes work (payroll, invoicing, paying the bills). Business has been declining over the last year so I'm also looking for something else. Currently applied for a Travel Reservationist for Disneyland. I'll get a job there one way or another  We're at Disneyland a few times a month. This month has been once a week, love the holiday seasons. We did WDW in '08 and '09. Hoping to return in '12 to our home resort, Saratoga.

Hi everyone---I am probably older than most of you but Disney obsessed!

I'm a lawyer (real estate) and am active with the DisDivas group here on the Dis. I am also a participant in other Disney boards (and a community leader at one).

In my spare, non-Disney time, I like to grow vegetables and cook. My friends love to come to my house for meals! I also like to read and like to plan vacations! Right now thinking of Hawaii or a cruise! I am a DVC member and try to go to WDW at least once a year (if not twice!) However, I hate to fly so always have to gear myself up for the trip.

I have a Corgi dog and a Siamese cat. They are both spoiled rotten! The dog just came back from boot camp and is behaving much better--thank you!

I have lived in Calif. all my life except for four and a half years when I ran away to Utah for a job change!
