We fly out at 5pm...prob get picked up about 3:30.....

we have gone to parks before, just hung out etc....

I am curious what fun things you do to pass the time until flight pick up???:goodvibes

We relax, have lunch, swim and stay poolside. We change into our flight clothes, air dry the bathing suits, and put them in a plastic shopping bag in our carry on luggage.

Go to DTD, get lunch at Earl of Sandwich and possibly venture into DQ.

Claire ;)

Use the pool, play mini golf, have a nice lunch and sometimes do some last minute shopping at DTD.

Another vote for DTD. We like to stroll around, do last minute shopping, go to Foulton's for lunch and Ghiradelli's for desert. Last vacation we also rented one of the watercraft and zipped around the lake. It makes a nice relaxing last day.

We go to DtD, eat lunch at WPE and spend the rest of our money!!LOL I love that you can have the items you purchased at DtD shipped to your house. So we can buy as much as we want and don't have to worry about taking it on the plane with us!

We love those later flights. We get up early, clear out of the villa with luggage and all by 8 AM and head for a park. We usually park hop to the max that last day, and hit all the places we like best. Then we usually have an ADR for our favorite in park eatery late enough so that we can just leave for the airport from there. We usually have a rental car, so we just leave it at our resort packed with the luggage, and take the bus back to leave from there.

I like to spend the last day at Epcot. We don't bother with rides, but walk around World Showcase at a leisurely pace. That was our plan for this past trip as well, until DH could not find his park pass! We ended up spending the afternoon at DTD, which was still fun!

Today is our last day at BCV. :sad1: We sent our bags on NWA and now have one carry on and an 8:30 flight so we are hitting SAB then the day parade at DHS-its new and we missed it all week.

Staying at BW, and usually only fly when its a "girlfriends trip".
We go to ESPN for drinks :goodvibes and lunch. A perfect end to a trip IMHO

We usually schedule the same late afternoon flight every trip and our routine is to finish packing and check out about 10:30/10:45 a.m. and then maybe some last minute shopping for an hour or so and then a relaxing lunch at one of our favorites.......Olivia's, Kona, maybe Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang's Express at DTD if we've been shopping there. We usually head to the airport about two hours before our flight. We don't like to rush around doing things our last day. We have also checked out and just relaxed by the pool with lunch stuff we've prepared in our room before we checked out and then change into our traveling clothes in the rest rooms near the pool (damp bathing suits go into our carryon in plastic bags).....the one at SSR is my favorite....it's bright and roomy almost like a locker room.

Generally morning swim, DTD for lunch and any "last minute" items the kids may have thought about during the week but held off buying, sometimes we add in a boat ride from DTD too. One time we had a character breakfast and enjoyed the MK one last time - it depends on what time we are scheduled to fly. We like to get the latest possible.

We always swim, then lunch at Beaches & Cream, then relax at BWV community hall while the kids play games and make crafts. Very enjoyable.

We always go to MK on our last day. I need to have the castle be my last memory of my trip.:flower3:

We always go to the MK and have lunch, usually just at the Columbia Harbor house although last time we had and ADR at Liberty Tree. For us it's a great end to a trip to be in the park that was the first.....well, at least the copy of the park that was the first! :lmao:

When we stay at VWL, we go to the MK, go on some attractions and then eat lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. It's a great place for lunch.

The time we stayed at AKV, we hung around the resort and had breakfast at Boma. In the future, we'll probably do AK and then come back to AKV before the trip home (our other home, that is).

We have been getting the 6pm flight out of MCO, thus the DME bus picks us up a little after 3pm.

After trying hard not to wake up, (I guess if we don't wake up we don't have to leave) :goodvibes we usually check out leaving our luggage behind. Typically we head to any of the parks and do our favorites, last time we did HTH, RRC, TT, Soarin, BTMRR and SM. Then we have ADR for The Plaza, love the burgers and the icecream, plus we can sit and watch the castle one last time before we have to leave.

We are thinking of pool time and renting boats at VWL marina....of course once you shower and stow luggage at bell services.....its still about 3 hrs till p/u time....

so....maybe DTD and lunch would be better.

USAirways is not part of the luggage service Disney offers...so we have to stow luggage and pick up before leaving.
;)

Usually we go to the pool...but DTD is an option too depending on how much time we really have before the ME bus comes. DTD doesn't require a day bag or cleaning up afterward...

We always spend our last day in Epcot- and we ride TT the last thing because it is one of the rides we ALL love, most especially DS13. This last trip was a little different- we went on the DVC tour, and they dropped us at AK so we could do EE one last time( LOVE that ride!!!! ). Then, the DVC van picked us all up and took us to Epcot so we could do our Test Track thing. It was the BEST last day ever!! Even the flight home wasn't so bad, because I just read that Dream book and dreamed about all the great vacations we would always be coming back to Disney for, for the rest of our lives!!!:woohoo:
