What do you do with your old vacation planners?

Do you keep your old vacation planners?

  • Yep, never know when they might become a collector's item

  • No. They're just trash when the new one comes out.

  • Vacation Planner? What's a vacation planner?

Just curious about this. I'm cleaning out my office space and have 5 years of vacation planners. I have no clue why I'm hanging on to the old ones, but it got me wondering, how many other DVCers do the same thing?

I actually have thrown away a few old ones! This is a great accomplishment on my part!:goodvibes

I have a hard time getting rid of anything in general, let alone something from Disney LOL. I recently took a huge box and put all of my Disney items in there.

We are only on our 2nd planner. I'm thinking about sending the old one to a friend.

Why does DVC need salespeople when they have all of us? :thumbsup2

Ours already are collectors items-for us! :wizard:

We haven't received this year's planner.....I don't really miss it although I like to look at the pictures. The point charts are on-line so that's what we use.

We have to burn ours for heat. Between the price of oil and KTV it isn't a pretty scene.;)

I throw them out................eventually!
It takes me a year or two to come to that point!

I gave my brother my old one from last year. He ended up buying DVC after that! :goodvibes

That's kind of what we do. We give or loan older ones to friends and relatives that might have interest. We did keep the old 3-ring binder edition from when they sent you updated pages to replace. It was nice. :lovestruc

Haven't received this year's planner yet. I just keep re-reading the old one for fun. :coffee: Some new pictures would be nice!

I keep them - so far, anyway. It's kind of fun to see how they have changed. Also, the old ones come in handy when you are wondering when a particular "rule" changed, LOL.

I voted "yep" not because of collectibility, but I thought I might use them in my scrapbooking. They have such great pictures in them!

What does this book look like. I have a book but I am not sure its a planner. I recently became a DVCer in January and received a book with my membership info

Bring it to the recycling center.......actually right now its on a bookshelf right next to the new one.......but eventually it will make its wait to the recycle bin.....

We have kept ours (I wanted to toss them but DH wanted to keep them) so that we can compare point values in the future:rotfl:

we have the three ring binder also!
Dan was on a dvc member group discussion pannel years ago while at the BWV to give his thoughts on improvements about the planner.
Disney gave us $50.00 for his time.
