I just kicking around the idea of doing a split stay at FW for a week and then staying at one of the resort hotels for a week. My question....What do you do with your trailer? I am sure you just can't park it at your hotel. Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks!

If you are staying at another Disney resort, you can park it at the resort. You can also ask the Front Desk at FtW if they will give you a special permit to park you trailer in the day lot at the kennel - again, only with proof of a ressie at another Disney resort.

We had a split stay last Thanksgiving because we could not string together enough days at the Fort. We ended up staying 3 days at Pop Century and the folks could not have been nicer. The only thing they asked was that we park our camper farther away from the buildings. We were glad to do this because it was easier to park our camper and we could see it from our room.
We locked it and it was just fine during the rest of our stay. It was also easy to hook it up and bring it home. We saw several other campers near us at Pop Century in the same lot.

We did the same thing at the Dolphin in June. It was no trouble at all, and it was fun to look out the hotel window and see our little popup out there waiting for us. At some other hotels we've stayed in, we parked in a double space and didn't even unhitched it.

At the Dolphin, it was really nice that when it rained, our popup was already buttoned up, so we didn't have to pack it up wet. We were very lucky!
