What do you do with altered paint cans?

A friend wants me to take an altered paint can class with her but I can't figure out what you do with it once you make them. What do y'all do with your altered paint cans?

I use them as gifts. Usually for the teachers. there is a site someplace that has a list of stuff for different ocassions that you can toss into the paint can. For example I did them as christmas presents and used the "christmas" survival list. (roll of tape, hot chocolate, extra reindeer noses (m&m's) etc. maggie

Last year I made them for each of my kids... they use them to store money, hide toys, and store their PSP and games and chargers, etc... They love them!!

One of the teachers uses hers to store legos for indoor recess!

I have rolls of the $0.50 ribbon from Mike's stored in mine. I always stock up when they're 4/$1.00 and needed storage. The paint can is perfect

The one I made for my Grandma, I did for her to hold candy and other treats.

I am teaching a class in March on a Easter Basket paint can...
I also made one for the winter season it sits by the back door with gloves tissues and chap stick hand cream....

That's what mine is Shauna - well it was from an exchange at CKU. It's great storage.

I liked your idea. I certainly always need more ribbon storage. Does anyone else use them in your scrap space?
