Well, it was down to the middle of my back and you know how girls are, we chop it all off. It's about chin level right now and at first I loved it but I have had a few days of wanting my long hair back. I had dyed it lighter and then went darker but I may want to do some hilights...problem is the guy I go to charges mucho dinero for hilights. Can you recommend any products to make it really soft and shiny? What is that product you were talking about on the thread? What does it do?

Oh, poor MM. When that happens to me, I always wish that I was like a doll I used to have when I was a kid. Chrissi--you could yank her hair out so it was really long and then roll it back in so she'd have short hair. I think that little knob in your back would be uncomfortable, though.

It does *everything*. It's loaded with protein, so youll get shine and healthiness!

Really soft & shine? Get a silicone product - Farouk BioSilk, TiGi After Party, etc.

Make it REALLLLY shiney? - get a great Shampoo / Conditioner - Laminates by Sebastian is amazing!

Ill go clean my PM's.... theyve gotta be older than dirt. I barely get any.

my hair used to be pretty long..and then i gradually started cutting it off..at first it was a shock and i hated it...but then i started trying things with it...chunked it....lightend it...cut more off..and now i couldnt go long or back to my natural color ever!! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair now its crazy..I was at disney once and these two gals were talking and pointing at me and i thought..do i have a booger or something..and then the lady comes over and asks if she can take a pic of my hair..i was so flattered...Last week here at work it happend again..soo funny..anyways...give it some time..most hair changes grow on you after a couple of weeks....so put some fun highlights or something in it and have fun with it..it will grow back!!!!
