What do you do at Epcot if not seeing Illuminations?

We're staying at BCV's in April and will be at Epcot at least 2 nights. If we've already seen Illuminations once, what do you do instead if Future World is closed? Just shop around? We always do big lunches, so dinners are out. Any ideas?

For me, I would take my time and explore the countries at Epcot and go through the shops. I think you can do that while illuminations is on.

Actually, while Future World is technically closed in the evenings, Test Track & Spaceship Earth remain open until 9:00pm.

Hopefully the Fountain of Nations will be operating.

We like to sit on the wall near MouseGear and watch the fountain go through all its routines. It's quite magical after dark when there's hardly anyone around.

It's a great time to enjoy a little ice cream as well !! ;)

Claudia and Brian, thanks! I wasn't sure if they kept TT open, but I've always heard it late at night, I thought they were testing it though. Thats a fun idea, I bet the lines are short (ya right). Donna (LOVE your screenname, one of my fav movies of all times), I LOVE that idea. I've always wanted to take the time to watch the fountains, but we're always in a rush. I have never just sat and watched them, very cool thought, thanks!

I would recommend a WS pub crawl. Also known as drinking around the world.

If you don't drink, try to snack around the world. The pastries in Norway are awesome!!! Churros in Mexico, beavertails in Canada.....:smooth:

Walking around the WS at night is one of my favorite things to do at WDW. It has such a festive atmosphere, you hear music from the different countries, stop in the shops, stop to eat at the stands. I can never see Illuminations too many times.

Observe the picture below for ideas on great family fun at Epcot.

1) Watch Illuminations again...and again...and again. :p

2) Go back to BCV. ;)

I never get tired of watching it. You can always stand in a different place to have a different view, too.

Its funny, I can watch Fantasmic or Spectromagic again and again, but not Illuminations. Once a trip is enough, but thats just me. Thanks everyone for your insight, much appreciated! :D
Especially the one from Bill....I might take you up on that one.

If we aren't seeing Illuminations it is because we are riding Test Track. It is one of the best times to do so, as most people in Epcot are otherwise occupied.

I like Bill's idea, too...think my 8 and 6 year old's are big enough to belly-up to a bar with me and have a Shirley Temple?;)
something to look forward to!!
