What do you do AFTER you eat??

My DH made a beeline for his recliner to watch football, the boys are playing last year's Playstation games and I'm waiting for my sister so we can go shopping at Meijers!!


What does everyone do after your Thanksgiving dinner?

We'll be heading out for a walk to work the turkey from our stomachs into our legs. LOL!

The "kids" (in our 20's & 30's) go out for a movie, a Disney one if it's out. But I'm not there this year, so I'll have to see it later on my own or make them see it again with me.

We've just gotten home from my cousin's house. Actually, it's just me and DH....the boys have gone to their paternal grandparents house for another meal and DD stayed at my cousin's with my sister's family, so the kids could go swimming, it's a beautiful 70 degrees here in sunny Florida!

I'm contemplating a nap, and then we always go to a movie in the evening....trying to decide between HP or Treasure Planet.

I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and I'm crusing the DIS! DH is glued to the TV watching his beloved Patriots, and the boys are watching the Timon and Pumba marathon on Toon Disney.

Traditionally, we go see a movie with my sister and her husband. This year my poor sis has strep throat, so she wasn't here for Turkey Day. The 32 guests we had over have gone home, save my Granny who is staying overnight. We are just relaxing right now. We may go see Treasure Planet, or we may just stay in and watch Ice Age or Spirit, two movies we saw in the theatre and have rented for the weekend.

Well, my family and friends began arriving at 11am....they are still here at 6pm. Some are talking, some are looking at sales for tomorrow and others are playing gamecube. The kids have been outside playing basketball and having snowball fights. There are 14 of our over 30 guest remaining. I love this time, when we just hang out with each other....I am so Thankful for all my family and friends

I am almost embarrassed to say that I usually have to unbutton my pants from eating too much....... but it's what I do!!

Today was a first for our family - my parents took everyone out to eat at a restaurant and then DH, DS, and I make a Super Wal-Mart run. (where for once the store was relatively empty, for Wal-Mart, that is!)

Normally my family puts up the tree and just sits around and chats all evening. Since it is just the two of us this year, I ran over to K-mart to get new lights for the tree (I decided this year I wanted white lights) and am in the middle of putting up the tree (with the help of the cats )

After we ate we watched a repeat of the VMA's and also played Trivial Pursuit for a little while.

We cleaned up and absorbed the food for a bit. Then we sat down to my family's holiday tradition......playing poker..... I had a fun evening.....

i went over to my grandmas house after dinner (where i am now), drank a bottle of sparkling apple cider, and watched TV.

watched my rental of Fellowship of the Ring,Two Towers in out in less than 3 weeks after all

It depends on where we are. But, we play cards, chess, checkers, puzzles, talk, play with helium, talk some more, and I entertained the baby.
