What Do Think Of This Concept For A Christmas Card?

Its obviously not a good picture of the kids faces, but we got creative while posing them this morning and had them "look for Santa". I love the idea,and I think it came out really cute, but I cant help feel bad that their faces arent there.
So do you think it would make a cute picture, or should with go with a more traditional pose?

Just an opinion...I think it's a real cute picture, but when I get photo-cards from people I love to see their kids cute little faces!

Just kidding Katie. I think it is a great (GREAT) concept for a card. Is there any way you could finagle the kids so that we could see the handsome faces?

Maybe sitting on the floor in front of the fireplace, and have them sort of looking up? In any event, I love this shot, and I think it would be adorable!

Are you making your own card or doing one of the picture ones? If you are making your own just put another picture with just their faces either inside or a cameo at the bottom.

I think that picture is cute and would make a neat card but agree that most friends & relatives would want to see their faces.

I like seeing the kids' faces, but I think that pose is absolutely adorable! If you're making your own cards, maybe you could use that picture as part of the card and insert a regular picture with their faces that people could hang on their refrigerators.

Use that one and then send a wallet sized of their faces. You get 8 wallets on a sheet.

I agree with the consensus pretty much that it's an adorable picture, but that it would be nice to have their faces in a picture somewhere. Really cute idea though! If you have to/want to keep it to just one picture, you could maybe do something with the same backdrop, but have them facing the other way sitting in front of the fireplace with their chin on their hands thinking "just waiting for Santa" or something like that.

Oh I just thought of an idea how about have tehm sitting infront of the firesplace and have the older boy pointing up the chimney and the little one looking at him like he cant believe that is how santa enters the room!!

I guess I feel the same way most everyone does. Love it, but not good enough for a card. Basically, I took a whole roll of film in front of the fireplace in all different poses. This one was one of our "finalists", but like I said, I wasnt sure if it would be good enough.

I do like the idea of sticking a wallet size one in with the card(we do plan to have the made up at a picture place, so only 1 picture can go on the card). I will have to look into that.
