Does anyone know where the words for the names of those resturaunts come from? I'm always amazed at how Disney has a purpose to so many names. There used to be a place where the definitions of lots of the words from AK and AKL were, but I can't remember those two and what they meant. Anyone?

Jiko is Swahili for "a cooking place." So "Jiko - The Cooking Place" means "A Cooking Place - The Cooking Place."

Boma is Swahili for "an open, natural space that provides a safe and sheltered place in the bush." It's also defined as "a place of concealment."
