What do AP tickets look like??

Do they have your info on them? Do you have a special entrance? Do you have to show an ID? TIA

Your name is printed on the back and you have to use the finger scans just like the rest of the tickets. So you don't actually show a picture ID, but your finger/bio scan proves you are you! Also, you go through the same entrance as everyone else.

They are flimsy paper things with a barcode on the back. Actually they are the same as what you would get if you went to the ticket booth and bought a 1 day ticket. I think it is kindof silly since they can print the tickets on a hard plastic like the room key/tickets. It seems to me that since AP's are going to use the tickets more that they should print them on something that is a little more durable.

The AP's and regular tickets purchased at the window are made with tyvex paper which is much more durable then flimsy paper things....they may not look like they will hold up but I have been a AP holder for many years and have never had a ticket be destroyed...washing and drying included

We keep all our AP's in a plastic baggie in our (DW or DH) fanny pack.
Keeps them dry on water rides and rainy days

Actually from what I've been told - the reason for this is that the plastic cards do not hold the magnetic strip well(think of a credit card) and so they wear out faster. plus the paper they use is pretty durable.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I didn't know that the passes were made out of a special type of paper. Seems like they should be able to find a way to make the plastic cards keep their coding.

I didn't mean to offend any lovers of the paper tickets. I love my annual pass just the same, I just thought they could have made them, well "sturdier."

Just voicing my opinion, I wasn't really looking to get flamed!

in days of old the AP's had our picture on the front....I was a little girl and always thought of it as my Disney credit card!

Now they are the paper style...and everyone in my family has something different...DH has the tree of life, DD has Cinderellabration, I have Stunt show...

I used my annual pass over 80 times last year and it looked as good as new at the end of the year. They are very durable and hold up better than the plastic ones that can crack.

I put 3 APs inthe wash this past sunner and out came 3 pieces of wax type paper the size of the tickets. I ahve had to replace my APs numerous times. Thank goodness they have the info in the computer and print it out for you with only a picture ID!
