OK-- I have just had a rotten experience at Circuit City (which I will not get into or I will blow a fuse!!!). So now all that I can think of is -- wouldn't it be great to be riding Splash Mountain, or taking a trip on the lazy river at Blizzard Beach?!!! So--

what Disney ride/attraction do you think of when you need a little magic to turn around a bad a day?

Well it's not technically a ride but the Country Bear Jamboree always makes me laugh. "There was blood on the saddle........ :rotfl2: I just love Al!

Watching the video of Wishes fireworks at MK always makes me fell better. Since you like riding Splash Mtn, check out the video of it on this site on the photos/vidoes page. :sunny:

If I'm having a bad day from anger, I dream of being on a thrill ride (like RnR or TOT!) But if I'm just having a bad day due to anything else, my mind is inside Splash Mountain singin "everyone has a laughing place....." :teeth:

I picture myself at Typhoon Lagoon floating on a tube around Castaway Creek...sigh.

Splash Mtn for sure. The ride is so long and I've been on it so much it's so soothing! Would definitely make me go from 100% angry to 100% happy! :thumbsup2

I used to think of thrill rides like RNR and M:S; now I usually find myself thinking about SOARIN'!!

Splash Mountain. It's impossible to be in a bad mood when you're on Splash.

I put on my Wishes cd, close my eyes and remember the MAGIC pixiedust:

Only 86 days to go till I see WISHES!!!

Whenever I have a rough day I like to think about POC and Haunted Mansion. Those rides just always make me happy :p

For me it is not an attraction or a ride....it is WALKING INTO THE MAGIC KINGDOM.

The minute we have our KTTK and are unpacked(a little) we are off to the MK and every single time I walk in there, I start to CRY and LAUGH and I am in
ANOTHER WORLD....YUP DISNEY'S WORLD...........YIPPEE SKIPPEE!!!!!!!

Seeing that CASTLE does it EVERY TIME....so when I am home and crap that life deals me....I put in my WISHES CD (like the poster above said) and I WISH I am in that MK!!!! :jumping1: party: :rainbow:

I also think of Splash Mountain. And I did go on that ride as a way to dispel some awful tension in my life. My wonderful family gave me my first solo trip to WDW as a Mom's weekend at a time when I was having alot of stress in my job. This is what I did-as the log slowly went up the hill just before the drop, I tensed everything up. Then as I flew down the drop, screaming all the way, I visualized all the tension flying off me. Then I just smiled and relaxed as I bobbed along thru the Zip-A-Dee Doo Dah room, feeling much better. Sorry if that sounds corny, but that's what I visualize whenever I'm having a really bad day.

Me too...that moment and feeling as you round that corner onto Main Street and see the castle. That's the best feeling.

I agree with some of the other threads. I always think of that moment of first walking into the Magic Kingdom. My boyfriend and I literally skipped down Main Street and were smiling from head to toe. I always think of that to get me through the daily downs that can happen. It has never failed to make me smile and live through it all over again!

I second the post that said just thinking about walking in the MK makes me feel better. The idea of walking up mainstreet and looking at the castle just puts a smile on my face.

I also feel good thinking about riding Peter Pan. It's such a classic, and I love The Second Star to the Right song!!!

I am never growing up!!!!!!!!!!!

What about when you arrive at WDW and see that huge entrance sign with Mickey and Minnie welcoming you. :sunny: I start getting the giggles as soon as I see purple highway signs. :teeth:

I also think of the smell and sounds of Everything POP!!! There's some song I remember them playing when we arrived. I have no idea who sings it or what it is called, but it just reminds me of happiness!!!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2 I agree with most of the other posts... I too think of Splash Moutain ... the laughin place .. its so great .. I have the song on my computer so I can listen to it whenever i want

For me....it is Peter Pan..."and away we goooooooo". :goodvibes
