I had a chicken sandwich from Chic-Fil-A. Fundraiser for DD15's school so we went. Just a plain chicken sandwich with chicken and pickles, so much better than other fast food sandwiches.

Last night i made chicken enchildas

Honey that I collected fresh from local wild hives, them bees was madder than a hornet that just done been stepped on at a fourth of July picnic! Well doggie! But them honey rolls that was baked by my ma was well worth it. My cousin Jeb went out and caught us a wild hog, thems is big animals, so we now have plenty of ham, bacon and ham hocks too.
So for dinner we feasted upon wild hog, cooked of course, really now, it was slow cooked barbecue, lentil soup with smoked ham hock, french cut beans, mashed garlic potatoes and of course those wonderful honey rolls. For dessert creme brulee with dark chocolate ganache, served with madelines that were dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with slivered almonds. Oh yeah! ..... Burp...... Excuse me....

I had a pizza, a very specialized pizza.....LOL it had fresh diced tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil, garlic, basil, no sauce, just the olive oil. It's a very good pizza!!

Last night I made chop steak, which is tenderized beef (super cheap cuts that the store tenderizes a lot lol) cooked in cream of mushroom soup, with white cheddar mashed potatoes, green beans, pickled beets and crescent rolls. It was good!

Pickled beets Pixiewings???? Never heard of them but I do love beets and that sounds fabulous!

And as for you Gisele - I think you've been nippin on the bathtub gin now, post St. Patty's day.


We had cashew chicken lettuce wraps and strawberry pie with homemade whipped cream, I made it all myself! From scratch!

Hey Cagirlie, save me a plate for that sounds super yummy! My cousin Jeb went and fed his buddies the rest of the wild hog, so no more ham dinners for a bit.... well until Jeb or one of his friends go hunting again anyway, so that will be pretty soon actually. In the meantime I am a bit hungry... I hope that you will be able to over night my meals on wheels for me, otherwise I might go hungry.

Last night I fought off the last of Jeb's good ol' boys so I could savor the flavor of the last bit of ham, and boy howdie it sure was good, I slathered some very nice home made mayo with a bit of Honey mustard on honey rolls and made little sandwiches, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I need a nap now.......
