Nothing....I didn't eat anything for dinner, I wasn't feeling well at all. Must have been tired too, I fell asleep at 9 on the couch, got up around midnight to go to bed, woke up this morning at 9:30.....lol
Our friends invited us over for a barbeque last night. Well, it turns out that her mother and brother were in from out of town, and her brother is a gourmet chef. So let's see...
We had salmon filets, grilled to moist perfection, in a delightful mango chutney sauce. Jumbo shrimp, and I don't know what that sauce was, other than it was to die forGrilled artichokes, again with a wonderful dip. A delightful vegetable medley that included asparagus, broccoli, and baby zucchinis. All accompanied by a choice of two wonderful wines, a Rodney Strong Chardonnay that we brought, and turned out to be even better than we remembered. Or a wonderful Bernardus Pinot Noir that they provided.
My mouth is watering, just remembering the meal.

OMG!! That sounds Amazing!!!!!![]()
I am, I think my body is still adjusting to me working 10 hour days....lol It's been a while and even then it was 8 hour days so this is a big change for me.
Oh, believe me, it was! And I even forgot the first course, a scallop curry bisque. And the dessert, sherbet and biscotti.
Glad you're feeling better! Yeah, I work 9 hour days (but get every other Friday off). It's amazing how long that extra hour can be. At one time I thought it would be heaven to work 10/40; but now I'm not sure I could handle it. Glad you're acclimating.
