What did you get the kids to make their trip magical?

For my girls, i got then visa gift cards with their names on them, they will be so excited.

Now on a more parental note, i think we should really counsel our kids on the importance of credit early, kids seem to be attracted to the idea of having a credit card. But in the spirit of gift giving, i liked this idea, plus the amount of the card in on the front of it as well.

I always get them new PJs for a vacation. And I am getting them a Disney gift card, trading pin (DS) and italian charm (DD).

Disney Dollars also work well. I always like to get my kids one of those great big lolly pops as soon as we get down there - hey, it's a vacation for them too, right?

I got Disney gift cards for each member of our family. Our 2 boys (11 & 8) each got a $50 card and DH and I got $100 each. I ordered the cards on-line and there was an option to put a message to the recipient. When the cards came in the mail, they were in separate envelopes, one addressed to each of us. One boy got a card and message from Buzz and the other got one from Timon. My husband's card was from "The Duck" (one of his favorites) and mine was from Thumper (because I love bunnies)! We all got a kick out of the letters that came with the cards. I'm going to let each boy carry his own card in his fanny pack and decide what they want to buy (within reason, of course)! :)

I love that idea!! I was planning on getting gift cards for their stockings and the messages are a wonderful added touch!! TY :goodvibes

I love the PJs idea...I am going to go to the Disney Store to see if they have any PJ Pal sales tomorrow! I was also thinking along the lines of a new Disney tee shirt.

For my oldest, I always put together a small GIFT PACKAGE and I tell him that Mickey left it for him while he was sleeping! I put crayons, coloring books, light up spinny toy, glow stick, fan, etc. DD is only 18 months old, but I am going to have to leave her something too, so DS doesn't think DD got jipped!
