Your picture is gorgeous and I am just in awe.Today I baked 6 layers of red velvet cake, from scratch. There are two 6" layers, two 8" layers, and two 10" layers. DD is getting married on Saturday and I am making the cake! There will be 3 tiers, each with two layers. BIG baking day, kitchen is clean, and I am tired- but I still need to wrap and freeze everything; sure hope I can make space in the freezer!

Today I made a spatchcocked chicken, and like I relearn every fall, it's fast but takes longer than I think. So all the sides are currently warming and getting mushy while we wait for the chicken to be done.
