What did they do to the Disney Store?

Just visited the Disney Store for the first time in a while. What happened?! It should be re-named the Disney Baby Store. Pretty much just baby clothes and toys. Not much of anything else. Is this a permanent change? Are they all like this now?

I haven't ben to the one near me probably for 6 months. Then they had a variety of things, adult clothes, kids clothes/toys. I'll let you know the next time I go there.:D

I don't go anymore, as there is nothing there that interests me. I don't care for cheap plastic toys and baby stuff.

Yep!! The CMs at the store at our mall tell us that the adult stuff wasn't selling so they've quit carrying it! What a bummer!!! What am I going to wear for work when my Pooh jumper wears out??!!!

The one store we have has just begun carrying a few adult clothing items again, but the store isn't nearly as appealing as it once was.

Sadly, ours has been that way for a long long time now :(

Our store was just changed and it looks alot like the old Disney Store. There are some clothes for adults, lots of plush, and no baby clothes. They do have some waffle irons (Pooh).

OH! I went into the one on 5th Avenue the other day and felt completely lost! What used to be almost an entire floor of art (cels, sculptures, etc.) has been wiped out to make a room full of BEDS. Yes, beds, to display sheets and comforters. There's such an amazing amount of wasted space now. And half of the first floor has been converted to THE PRINCESS ZONE! Talk about pink.

Man, I wish that was my Disney Store. We hardly have any baby stuff at all and I would love for DS to have cute little Disney outfits. We have more of a varity. They have t-shirts and nightgowns for adults, a lot of clothes for kids and a few baby clothes. They also have the common toys, pins and plushies.

They have gone down hill quite a bit this past year. But I presume they have researched and this is better. I don't go there anymore.

Ours is completely baby stuff now too. I used to like to at least browse in there but there is just nothing to look at anymore.:(

The one I go to has a variety of all clothes-adult, kids, babies, etc. More stuff geared for little girls under the age of 7 though.

I guess the babies rate more than we do? I've stopped going also.

Our TDS has gone downhill over the last year and a half. I worked at my local TDS (local for me, anyhow - it was a 30 minute commute each way) for two years (May 1999-May 2001), and left because of the changes being made to the store. Between the lack of unique/high quality products and the changes to staffing, I was no longer enjoying working there. :(
