What days for USF and IOA

DH and I will be in Orlando the first week of Oct - arriving on Sun and leaving on Sat. We are staying at a DVC resort. My guess is that the majority of folks come to Orlando and go to WDW first early in the week and then go to Universal later in the week. Is that a fair assessment? I'm thinking that I should go to Universal early in the week as opposed to Thur - Fri - Sat.

That is the first full weekend of HHN at the Studios so the park will be closing at 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of that week. I would go early in the week just to avoid the HHN crowds in the afternoon.
