What "day" do you usually choose Cape May Cafe dining?

On what day of your park visits (MK, Epcot, HS) do you normally select your Cape May Cafe visit?

I'm trying to fit it into our schedule but I'm not THAT experienced with the transportation system. It will only be our second trip (and with an infant in a stroller!)

Thanks,
Tammy

I would choose Epcot, you can walk from the International Gateway to the Beach and Yacht Club in about 5-10 minutes. We walked over there in light rain, pushing 2 strollers and it wasn't too bad.

You can also catch the friendship launch from DHS or Epcot.

We usually eat at Cape May Cafe when we stay at the Beach Club. However, I agree with the pp, if you want to go there from a park, Epcot is the closest one and it is only about a 10 minute walk from the International Gateway entrance/exit of Epcot.

I would consider dining there for a DHS day...not really inspired by any of the restaurants at DHS. There is a nice walk to Beach Club from DHS (about 20-25 minutes) or a sloooow boat ride - there is plenty of room on boat for a stroller.

The dining options at Epcot are so plentiful, you really don't need to leave the park, even though Epcot is closer to Cape May than DHS.

If you are going for dinner (which we really liked last trip), a stroll around the boardwalk is also nice...there are street performers, midway games, bench swings on the beach.

We go to Cape May on Thur and Fri because those are the days they have the fried talapia

We did the Cape May Cafe for breakfast on our Animal Kingdom day because we didn't eat until 10:00 a.m. and we were staying late for extra magic hours (we had friends traveling with us) at AK. I think in the future that we will do it on our "off" day--our resort day and go around 8:30 or 9.

I would suggest having breakfast there as the dinner is poor at best. You can then spend the day at either DHS or Epcot.

We love Cape May for dinner - it is a must do for us every trip. :thumbsup2 We always plan it for an Epcot or DHS day since you can walk over (or boat) from both parks pretty easily. We prefer a DHS day since we don't like any of the dining options there...

The breakfast is also a great option, but not on our must-do list like the dinner. We'll be doing both in Dec since we'll be staying at the Boardwalk. :)
