What CROCS did for me!!

Yes, they're cotton socks...but they have a pink ribbon on them! I tried wearing them with the Crocs since that's what I usually wear on race day. I can't find the good coolmax type socks with the ribbon.I so want to wear my pink shoes to the race! Anyway, today I tried taking "the hill" again, with my pink Crocs without socks and NO BLISTERS!!!!! I'm going to keep wearing them without socks for my walks the rest of the week and as long as they're still okay, I'll be wearing them Saturday morning for the race! I'll post a pic when I get back.

BTW- I was flipping through a magazine yesterday waiting at the checkout line, I think it was US weekly, and there was a pic of Faith Hill wearing a pair of Butter colored Crocs with blue jeans!

5th Sock down.....I have a few pairs of these and LOVE them

Is this what you are looking for? I love my wright socks....and they are cool max....and blister preventative!! How can you go wrong? Oh yeah, and they have the PINK ribbon. Mine do too!!

I just wanted to say that I received my 2nd pair of Crocs today. I am loving this pair! My first pair were an size XS Beach in black, and they were too small.

This pair is a size 6 Metro in chocolate - and they are so comfortable and fit great. Can't wait to try other colors. I'm really liking the no-holes look, too!

Just had to share my bliss!

Went to G.I. Joe's today to look for camping supplies and noticed they had lime green Crocs in my size...and they were 20% off! Can't wait to wear them especially since it's gloomy and gray outside today -- these will certainly brighten things up a bit!!!

Filene's carries Crocs now, mostly Cayman, but for $29.99. I had to get two more pair - purple and pearl white! I think pink just may be next....to add to the turquoise, navy, light blue, and lime that I already have.....

I'm sooo excited. I work at a May Co. store...looks like a 25% discount on CROCS is in my near future!! WOO HOO!

Here's my promised Croc pic from the race. As you can see, two of my friends wore them too. (I'm in the pink pants in the middle) They worked out great with no socks for me, and not a blister in site!

Okay...I know how to clean my CROCS, but what I can't figure out is how to hold 'em under the water so they can soak. :confused3 I had apparently stepped on some gum or really nasty tar which adhered to the bottom of my CROCS, so I put them in a gallon of water with a little bleach...cleaned them nicely, but the stinkers kept floating. DH got a good laugh out of me trying to squish them into the bucket so they'd stay put then the darn things would pop up. DH said, "Well, at least if you lose 'em in the water we'll be able to get 'em back cause they float!" Yeah, but not if they float away...

Anyway, so what do ya'll do? Weight 'em down like a dead body someone chucked off a cliff?

Thanks in advance to my DIS CROC family!!

Okay, after looking at the CROCS site just to see what those Athens looked like....I found new CROC retailers in my area...so I called to check their stock and great news for me...one place is selling the Beach for $19.99...what better reason to get another pair. :cool1:

And then heard some news/gossip :chat: from another retailer when I asked her about when she thought they might start selling the Athens...she'd not seen it, but told me the company is working on a boot style for the fall collection. Can't wait to see it!

Just wanted to share this with ya'll!!

About the Athens...

Last weeks, I called the customer service line for Croc's to find out when the Athens would be available and the rep said that they would be available in late July.

:cool1: I've converted both DH and DS!!! :rotfl2:

We were on a mini road trip Friday in search of a new trombone for DS as well as another CROC hunt for DS. He's decided he really wants a pair of Beach CROCS in black and since we were passing the local shop that sells Beach CROCS for $19.99, we stopped. No, black for DS, but DH tried on a pair in khaki and walked out wearing them. :rotfl: He wore them all day driving and shopping and reported his feet felt great! DS decided on the way back that the khaki was actually a good color choice so we stopped there again, only to find that the only remainig pair in his size sold during the day. :sad2: So, I left my business card so they could call IF they get any more in...hey! If I can get my CROCS for $10 less, I'm all for it...means I can buy 3 pairs for the regular price of 2. :cheer2:

So, now when we head to Cedar Point for the weekend, we'll be a family of CROCS...all in khaki since I told DS we could go to Dillards and grab a pair for him since he's a whiny "gotta have 'em" teenager. :rotfl: I'm such a pushover...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Has anyone else noticed that the longer you wear your Crocs the more they seem to stretch out? I have worn my navy Beaches almost daily since I bought them and now they feel sooo loose compared to the lime ones I just got. It almost feels like the navy ones are too loose and that I have to work harder to keep them on.

Yep - They do "stretch" w/ a lot of wear

Add DH to the convert list! :cool1: He always called them "goofy shoes" :earboy2: DD (3) gave him a pair for Father's Day. He puts them on every day when he gets home now. Last night they (dh & dd) went for an Ice Cream run - they both donned their Crocs & bounced out the door - it was SO cute :lovestruc

He should be happy he got Navy - dd was quite upset when I would not let her get him the pink ones... She wanted him to have pink because they were "pretty" & she wanted Daddy's to match ours :love1:

Hi guys
Went to WDW in my Crocs. I have been so busy since I have been back that I am just now reporting. I saw Crocs everywhere. Got my DD and MIL going on spotting them. MIL won the best spotter award when she spotted crocs on the mom of one of the parade families in DAK riding on a float. I have pics but I do not know how to post them yet. My sister found lime green for me the day we left so that was cool. Wore my lime, pink, and black exclusively on the trip. No problem with my feet at all. In fact. I had got my MIL a pair for her B-day and she brought them to wear for the first time on the trip. She had been making fun of my shoes for a few months. She has broken one foot which had healed badly and had cyst etc on the other so she has problems with her feet big time. She wore her Crocs the first day and no problem. She wore here super duper sneakers the next day and had to buy flip flops in Adventureland before we left the park after Wishes. The next day it was Crocs again and no problem. She is now convinced to bring them to her trip to Itally next week. She was also overheard on the phone talking to one of her friends who is traveling with her about how they all had to get crocs before her trip. :rotfl:

My DH wears his all the time now too. We just went camping at the beach and they were so great because you didn't have to worry about getting any water or sand in them. There were a couple of other families with us and one of the other dads was razzing DH about his Crocs...DH said "I don't care what they look like -- they're comfortable!".

Now that is taking a bold step for sure--isn't Italy like the designer shoe capital of the world? Wow, not even I am that brave I don't think...she should turn heads for sure!! But she will have a great time in the crocs.

I forgot to point out to her the whole shoe fashion center of the world thing oops. :teeth: At least this way she will be able to walk around and actually see Italy rather than just her hotel room.

yea, but I just read on the CROCS web site that there shoes are designed with "Italian" styling... so she might fit in great!

My husband is sucha goof sometimes. I got him the sea blue crocs in his size. He put them in our room somewhere. So now when he need to just run outside or to take the garbage out does he get hisown shoes? No he grabs whatever of my crocs I have lying around and wears those. I want to yell get your own everytime. But he says the blue is too bright.

I forgot to mention the blues are too bright but he will wear my red or pink if they are around??? I think he just does not want to admit he likes crocs. :rotfl:
