There are rumors circulating around here (from people who know the owners) that the next color will be:

That is so funny. That news alone will keep this thread going :rotfl2:. I did hear new colours and kids sizes (toddler) will be available come April.

Dchef - what part of Colorado are you from?

We were just at Universal in December and our entire family of 5 wore their Crocs everyday. I couldn't get over how many comments we got on them and how many people asked us where to get them. And after being used to seeing them on everybody at the grocery store and just about anywhere you go, it was a bit weird not to see anybody without bright colored plastic shoes on :flower:

I just spoke with the guy at the kiosk in our mall (the direct line to the owners) and he did confirm that the toddler sizes would be out soon. He also explained that the company grew so large, so quickly that they had a really hard time keeping up with demand. Even here in Boulder, where we usually get the first shipments, we had a hard time finding them around Christmas. But they have added two more manufacturing sites (China and Italy), so they should be caught up. My newest pair that I got in December say "Made in Italy" rather than the usual "Made in Canada."

Hey Goofy,

I am here on the "otherside" of the county...Erie. Kids go to school in Louisville though (open enroll). Here I thought I was crazy for posting this thread way back when--that people would not/could not believe that I would wear such a pair of shoes--when around here in Boulder it is the norm...goes to show you that maybe we really are a country unto ourselves :rotfl2:

Nice to see another local on here. Just bought another pair and I am waiting for my white ones from Raise your Pulse (RYP Sports) I love the Beaches because they are bigger (I need that). Feel free to email me and chit chat!! There are so many Crocs on the streets here in Colorado, I fear for those that don't have them yet. :teeth:

LIME GREEN CROCS :cheer2: has my vote. Now I will HAVE to go back and SOON...

Hey DChef,

If you go to the guy with the booth at Flatirons (right outside Old Navy), he will fill you in on ALL the newest gossip about what is happening with Crocs.

Boulder (now including Boulder County) - 40 sq miles surrounded by reality, don't ya love it.

When we went to USO at Christmas, we were on the parking lot shuttle (DIA) and all 5 of us had our crocs on. The only shoe to wear on a plane!! The guy sitting across from us laughed and asked if we were from Boulder. We said yes, and he said he was a surgeon and had come across these while visiting Boulder during a seminar. Said he was returning home with a suitcase full for the OR.

And yes, DChef - you SHOULD ask those guys for a commission, now that you have the whole DIS out trying to get them. :rotfl:

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now a proud owner of pink Beach Crocs. I found them at Dillards where he said they had mistakenly received someone else's HUGE shipment, but they put them out anyway.

They were 29.99 and they had a ton--Thanks to the DisBoards Budget Board, I only had to pay 19.99 thanks to my American Express Giftcard.

ANYWAYS.....what I wanted to post was that the Dillards in STL had

LIME GREEN!!

He said they had just gotten them in on Monday, along with purple and light blue. He also said Dillard's stores won't be carrying the sandles, WILL be getting in Caymans soon AND will be carrying BOOTS later on in the summer!

CROCS ARE GOING CRAZY! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!! :) :)

They're here! Finally! Got my khaki Highlanders today. They feel very nice, but I don't know if they're going to be supportive enough for my sore feet. I'll try them out at work tomorrow, but I'll bring along my NB walkers, just in case. They fit very well, my DD16 considers them "uber ugly", but I don't think they're all that different from every other clog I wear, other than the plasticky looking material. The one thing I noticed about them, though, is that someone said my feet wouldn't sweat in these things? WRONG! They sweat incredibly. Wore my wool socks with them, and the socks were soaked within an hour. Now, I know that the style I got has no ventilation holes in them, and the styles that do, will be much better in this regard, but I didn't expect them to be quite so bad. I can't have the holes in the shoes at work, because i walk on gravel all day, and need waterproof shoes, so I guess I'll just have to suck it up and find more absorbent socks. And for Disney, I've ordered the Caymans, which I expect will be better.

quoting Goofy! "My newest pair that I got in December say "Made in Italy" rather than the usual "Made in Canada."

Ha, made me look!! :rotfl:

Mine are made in China!

Got 'em...but I have a question for those of you that already have some. I normally wear a size 9 shoe, so got the Beach in a medium. The CS rep at Crocs told me they would be perfect. Well, finally, after almost a month wait, they came yesterday. But, my toes hit the end of the shoe. Is this normal? I tried stretching the strap and that helped a little. If I wear them as a clog, it's fine but I really don't like the 'flopping' feel. With the strap down, it's a better fit except for those few toes hitting. Anyone think the fit will stretch out a bit over time?

Yeah, my toe hit the end of my shoe, too, so I got a larger pair. I bought the Beach as well. I am regularly a 6 1/2 so I got the Size 6-7 shoe. Yes, the shoes look huge on my feet (or my feet look so small inside), but they actually don't swim around in them! They feel rather comfy. :flower:

I just got my second pair of caymans!! They are purple and made in the USA. I wear a size 10 and have narrow feet. I ordered the size 10 and they fit just perfect. I can wear thin socks with them and have room and my feet do not move when I walk. I love my crocs!!! :goodvibes
My DD (16) is wearing the niles because they were too small for me ,so I do have to order a size up in that style. She now wants a pair of caymans too!! We can'nt convince the DH he thinks they are too ugly! :rotfl:

I had ordered one pair each(white) for myself and daughter age 12. I got the 10-11 size and for her I ordered 8-9. She fell in love with hers at first sight. In fact they are at school now. :flower:

Mine are still a little big but I haven't worn them much. I plan to do so when the days get warmer here. I hope that they shrink a little. If not I will take a few more pairs of shoes to the world in case these cause blister. So far I haven't noticed any rubbing. ;)

My daughter thinks that they will be perfect for the water parks and great to shower in if we need to. :cheer2:

Boots??? Did I read that right? You wouldn't kid a girl?

The crocs.com people called me and told me they wouldn't be able to get my order to me in time for my trip so I just had them cancel it. I ended up buying a pair of Keen Newports and I love them! I've been wearing them non-stop for the last three days and they're great!

I was at the Tulsa Zoo last week and the gift shop there was selling Crocs!

Are you kinding me? :confused3 They are made in Canada and I can't get a damn pair anywhere. I want to try them on. I don't really want to order off the internet and with shipping cost adds at least another 10 - 12 bucks.

The only thing close are the Airwalk Clog knockoffs coming to Payless that haven't arrived yet either.

Hey Goofy can you ask your "source" :rotfl: where in Canada they are made and how the heck I can get a pair across the border here in Canada ??!!

I want Crocs, I want Crocs, I want Crocs! :cheer2:

How long until you would have gotten them? I just ordered a pair of white Niles this morning. I bid on a pair on ebay but lost :(

Is there anyone else out there fromMiami/Flroida that wears them. I have been wearing them nonstop since this thread talked me into my (3) pairs.
But I have seen no one else with them. Not even in WDW St Patricks day weekend. I did have one mother at mt DD's school ask about them as if she had heard of them before. They are so cool how can no one down here know about them? :confused3

St. Louisans - Jan's Hallmark stores all carry Crocs in SOOO many colors and sizes!

I got mine at Laurie's Shoes in Chesterfield mall, but they are selling out quickly, they said. The day they got mine it, they got 150 pairs and OVER HALF were special orders!

I just kind of said "what'cha got in my size?" and they found me a pair of red ones. I don't know - I think the colors are a heckuvalot cuter than the darn khaki/navy/black - those look a bit like orthopedic shoes to me LOL
