What common phrases do you hate?

Someone mentioned on another thread that they can't stand the phrases "snowflake" or "helicopter mom". I use these all the time - sometimes even referring to myself or my daughter.

What phrases are pretty commonly said that annoy you? Here's mine:

panties in a twist.
knickers in a knot.
panties in a bunch

Those bug me because it creeps me out that anyone is thinking so much about the state of my underwear.

Dude... after 23 hours of hard labor au naturale followed by an emergency c-section - I can tell you with the greatest authority. THEY DON'T POP OUT!!

I get annoyed by the phrase "I could care less." Which means they're still capable of caring. The phrase should be "I couldn't care less." By then, they're beyond caring.

Actually, mine kind of did just pop out. I'm a broad as a barn and they weren't all that big...but that's neither here nor there.

I can't stand "like" or "and whatnot" or "whatever," "whatevs," or any variation thereof.

What is wrong with did you find everything okay? It is their job to make sure you got everything, if not they will help you find it

I had two coworkers, one who would use the word "rape" as in: then the vendor will rape us on pricing.

The other coworker would use the word "hiney" as in someone's behind. I'm sorry that is just so "no-class".

I think my niece popped out but she was only a four-ponder. My sister always gets everything better than me. <sibling rivalry> Mine wasn't very big but she inherited my humongous monster head. She honestly had a ninetieth percentile head. No popping out involved.

Whatnot drives me nuts. The others not so much. I don't know what my brain sees as the difference.

Some oxymorons bother me.

And just to say no popping out here either. It took two hours of pushing to get my 9lb 9 oz baby boy out. No popping at all!!
