What commercials crack you up?

DH and I love the commercial (it's for a cell phone company, I think) in which a guy is showing a video on his cell phone of him and a friend playing one on one basketball. The friend is trash talking "they call me the bus driver, cause I'm going to take you to school!" to his friend and the friend just blocks the ball and it hits his obnoxious friend in the nose. I normally do not like slapstick, but there is just something about this commercial that always makes me laugh.

Anyone heard the Dunkin Donuts commercial with the mob story? Everytime there is a violent scene of possible swear word, a different voice breaks in on the NY Mobster voice. It says things like- We're going to take him into the woods and speak to him in very harsh tones. Then someone will say- No! Please dont' do a very bad thing to me! Kind of amusing!

Oh, those crack me up too! I don't think I have seen one in a while though, course with TIVO, I watch no commercials anymore.

That's a Subway commercial. Cracks me up! "Instead of the blubber can I get some thunder thighs and a badonkadonk butt?"

I like this one too. I also love those Geico commercials with the caveman, esp the one where he's in the therapist office and tells her his mom is calling on the cell phone.

I also like the Chick fil A commercials; any of them will do.

I LOVE any and all Bush's baked beans commercials. I just love that dog Duke. They have a new one out with Duke rounding up sheep. It just cracks me up every time.

I love the Geico caveman commercials. The one where he is on the moving sidewalk at the airport ... with his luggage and tennis racket (HA!) ... passing by the Geico caveman billboard. So funny!

And the one where he's on the news ..... "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the rock".

Yes!!! And almost nobody who I have seen this commercial with knows who Ricardo Montalban is or that he is doing the voice-over. Very funny. I also love that the lions don't do something predictable like chase or attack. They just sit there.

I love this one, where the lion keeps rolling the "r", but I rarely see it.

My other favorites, I think it's Verizon, the guy calls his girlfriend & it goes something like this:
"Hi baby, how's the prettiest girl I know."
"Aw, I'm ok, how are you."
"Ok baby, what cha been up to?"
silence - he can't hear what she's saying
"Baby? Baby? Is it Earl? Cat got your tongue? Earl got your tongue?"

The other is an Armstrong floor ad, a guy, wearing a headband and tight pants is doing a flamenco type dance, working up a sweat to music. All of a sudden his wife & daughter walk in the house, he stops suddenly, slips his headband off & embarrassingly says "Oh, you're home early".

I always loved this one!

That's funny, I never saw this one before. Remember the ones where the cat would mess up the house & it looked like the dog did it. So one time the dog gets a picture of the cat in action.

I am not sure what product this one is for maybe cable, but I love the commercial with the drugged out looking guy sitting on the floor and the father is sitting in the chair telling the guy it's nothing personal but his scenes are too intense for his kids and he's gonna have to block him. There is a moment of silence and then the father gets up quickly and says "well, gotta go!". The druggie sits there for a minute and then says "you're a nice lady."

I love the Geico caveman commercials. Some of the cell phone commercials out there are pretty good, too. I used to like the one where the mom and daughter were having the "reverse argument" (the only way I can think to explain it!) The My Five ones are good-- and there's a new one where a daughter is speaking in IM talk to her mom.

My DH loves the Mac/PC commercials. I think you have to be somewhat of a computer nerd to laugh at those, though!

The recently mentioned mother/daughter one reminded me of the teen girl who is dropping hints the she wants a cell phone...

She is talking into her hand with her fingers as the antennae and the mouth piece; I always crack up when she tell her "friend" to hold on, 'cause she has a call on the other line, then switches fingers "hello"...
