Well I guess that doesn't help me, (in Michigan) but if you found them that means they make them! :goodvibes

I just got my first pair! They're coral, aka orange. I LOVE THESE SHOES! They're undoubtedly the ugliest thing I've ever worn in public, but man, I want some more of them.
LoL :rotfl2:

The shoes do luck ugly as sin. I hope they feel better than they look. :rotfl2:

Seriously though, how comfortable are these shoes? I've never heard of them until i saw this post. It sounds like they're very light. I have Born shoes/sandals and they are very comfortable. Anyone have these types of shoes and then used Crocs? Comparison info?

With holes on top and sides, I have a pair of emarald and a pair of yellow. With just holes on the side, I have a pair of khaki, and with no holes, I have navy blue. I got the no hole ones for winter and can then just wear socks with them.

The navy are really my favorite pair because they look so nice with my jeans. I do also like my khaki. If I'm really bright and I'm wearing yellow, I'll put those on , and the emerald ones are my first pair, so they get worn, for the "dirty work".

This might be stupid, but do your feet perspire in them? I would think they might get really slick inside..... sorry - but I want to know before I buy them for our trip. My girls both wear them to dance class and their feet don't slide around in them with their tights on....

In my Highland (no holes) khakis, my feet sweat terribly, so I only wear them on very cold days with socks. My Caymans (holes) in navy and my Niles (sandals) in light blue don't make my feet sweat at all.

Anyone know how the Highland are different from the Aspen?

DH has navy, I got orange (my college alma mater's colors), DD 7 has bright pink, DD4 is getting the neon green for Christmas (I just love bright colored ones on kids even if they match nothing!). We got DD 1 some baby sized ones at Payless (Airwalks, royal blue & red sized 5) and she already has some size 8 "real" ones for when she's older. We're obsessed. I also got mine specifically for my trip to WDW. I only wore them at AK, but they were by far the most comfortable things for my feet all week. Even when they got wet on Kali River Rapids, they were still okay. I'm going to get a more subdued color for next time! :earboy2:

My first were navy blue Caymans and Black Highlands (closed toe).

Now, I have Caymans in Orange, Fuscia, Lime Green, and Red. I want to pick up chocolate for the winter.

Wow, thank you for all the great responses!

I have another question! Is the Cayman a lot more narrow than the Beach? That's the only difference, right?

The Cayman is sized in whole sizes while the Beach is sized in S, M, L etc. The Cayman do run a bit more narrow from what I've heard...can't speak from experience since I've only had Beach and Niles so far.

To the poster wanting to know which color doesn't draw much attention...I can say after wearing my lime green Beach for the past few days after wearing my khaki ones for 6 months...nobody noticed the khaki, but I've heard lots of comments, whispering and such about my lime green. Even a woman I've worked with since August noticed my CROCS for the first time on Friday even though I'd worn my khakis practically every day around her.

Just bought the Chocolate Caymans for myself, DH and DD4. We are going to wear them on our upcoming trip to WDW in a month. :cool1: I ordered DH and DD's from the Crocs website. Mine were not available in my size 8/9. I did a google search and found a place in Colorado that had the 8 in stock (for more $$$ of course). FYI, the 8 fit even though I may wear 8.5-9 in other shoes. DH has somewhat wide feet and the Cayman's fit him fine.

They feel like slippers they are so comfy! Good luck!!!

Do you wear socks with Crocs? I would think in the summer time your feet would get a little sweaty and sticky

Deb

I have the Pearl Beach Crocs and I just got the Aspen in Khaki. I love them! I wore the beach ones all summer without socks. The temps have been a little cool this week, so I am wearing the Aspens right now with socks. They really don't look that bad with socks. I only wear socks with them if it's cool outside. If it's warm, it's no socks for me!

don't the socks make your feet hot?
the plastic seems like it would be uncomfortable to wear without socks, but socks make my feet so hot...
i only wear birks (the kind with 2 straps and no backstrap)...and i never wear socks...too hot....

Are you able to walk all day in the Crocs. I know you need a really comfortabel shoe at WDW because of all the walking. I might consider these but I really need something that want hurt my feet.

thanks

Thanks for letting me know about the Caymans. I usually wear an 8-8.5, so I'm thinking the 8's would be good for me, too.

I also wanted to let you know that www.taylorshoes.com has the Caymans in Chocolate in your size. They only charge $5 shipping PER ORDER and ship USPS Priority Mail. :)

I have a pair of the bright pink Beach model and two pairs of the Niles in royal blue and red. My mom has a pair of royal blue in the Beach models and also has two pairs of the Niles in red and pearl. My D-I-L has a pair of the Beach model in bright yellow and my son has a pair of the Beach model in khaki.

They love theirs, but personally when I was in WDW this past May and again in Sept I preferred my Teva Mush flip flops and Teva Pretty Rugged leather sandals as they were more comfortable wearing all day than my Crocs.

When at WDW this past June, I wore my CROCS from the time I got up and running in the morning till the time I went to sleep at night, so a good 12 hours I'd say and not a problem. Actually, my feet were a bit swollen from all the walking and water retention, but I didn't even notice it until the last couple days of the trip when I realized my CROCS were fitting a bit more snug. I've also worn them around downtown Chicago on a shopping trip with no problems.

To anyone with Apsens did you pay 40.00 for them? I am looking on line and that seems to be the stanard price.

Also I want to get DD a pair. The only place I found that has aspens for kids is the croc web site and they are 40.00 for kids too. She wears her beach ones all the time so I got my 30.00 out of them, but 40.00 seems really high for kids shoes.

No, they don't.

I have black...they go with everything, which was a smart move! I'll be wearing them until the snow flies and freezes my tootsies!

DH has navy blue, which I see a lot of guys wearing. He also just bought a pair of bright yellow. He does inline marathons and bright yellow is his trademark color...all his race gear is that color! So I hope he only wears them to his races...it is indeed BRIGHT!
