I'm headed to Walt Disney World the first week of December. What should I not miss in the way of Christmas festivities? Where are the best decorations and what are your favorite holiday activities at Disney?

If you have the time just try to check out all the different resorts they each have their own theme and they are spectacular. I love the Wilderness Lodge's decs.
MVMCP is great, it gives you a chance to just relax in the MK and not try to hurry to the rides and such. I like to take that time to just check out all the MK's terrific decorations, parades, and shows.

Not to miss Candelight Processional its just beautiful. Also the Santas in world showcase. They tell a story of their countries traditions.

This was good. Some were very very good. We caught them all last year. It took pretty much an afternoon, but it was a very relaxing trip, no kids:bounce:

Its a shame The Osbourne Family Lights is not on this year..Its so beautiful.

I love going to WDW in December & October. This year I went in October Halloween week and MNSSHP.

I would suggest for December, Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. There is nothing like seeing snow fall on Main St,,its very magical.

If you have car, try to see all the Christmas trees and decorations at each resort. Each one has its own very special theming. My favorites are: Wilderness Lodge (Spectacular), Grand Floridian (GF also has the magnificent Gingerbread house and the scent fills the lobby) and Animal Kingdom Resorts. You may find your own favorite.

I like doing the Candelight Processional dinner package (Teppanyaki grill).

Christmas time at WDW is absolutely beautiful. Have a magical time!::yes::

I am quite disappointed about missing the Osbourne Lights this year. Oh well, hopefully next year. I'll try most of the above. Can't wait!

Are the Osbourne Lights definitely coming back????? I love them, and am truly disappointed not to be able to see them this year.

They are supposed to be back next year. I believe they are only down this year because of the Backstreet construction.
