I have 3 kids .... 13, 9, and 6.
Here is a list of their chores:
13 year old: unloads dishes from dishwasher (when needed), sorts their laundry basket (Sundays), and folds her socks and underwear (when I finally yell because I'm tired of seeing the pile on the floor)
9 year old: cleans room (when I finally yell because it's a disaster), brings in trash cans (twice a week), folds socks and underwear (when I yell-see above)
6 year old: cleans room (when I yell-see above), folds socks and underwear (when I yell-see above)
I feel like they should do more. Normally I am not bothered by the lack of help because I am a stay-at-home mom and do most of the chores while they are at school. But now that summer is coming and they will be home, I remember how mad I feel when I am cleaning their bathroom or vacuuming or what ever while they lay around and watch TV.
Most of it is my fault, my mentality is ... I can do it faster and better. But I realize I am not doing them any favors and they SHOULD help more around the house.
So I would like to know what your children are expected to do. Maybe that will help me!!!
Thank you!
Edited to add....my 13 year old's room is GROSS, but I just keep the door shut. I feel like because of her age it's one of those "pick you battles" things. So I don't "yell" at her to clean it like I do my other two. Although, now that I write this, that doesn't seem very fair. Any advice?!?

) to clean his room, he usually does a decent job. During the lawn mowing days he also takes care of most of the mowing. (He also mows neighbors yards)
Whatever the chore was for the day she had set for herself I would help with. Mop the kitchen floor? I was drafted to move the tables and chairs, sweep the floor before she mopped, then move the stuff back when she was done. Windows? I was bucket girl
I hated it but I sure learned how to clean a house from top to bottom.
Feeds her hamster and picks her stuff when I tell her. (add painfully slow to the point of total madness. I would rather have the complaints).
