What cell phone do you have and are you happy with it?

I have an iPhone and could not possibly love it more. :lovestruc I came from a BlackBerry Curve and then a Bold and the iPhone just fits better with the main things I used it for (plus, call quality is VASTLY improved. I know I'm on the same network with the same carrier (AT&T) as before, but I've had maybe 6 dropped calls since June 19, and the bulk of those were in areas where the coverage has always been spotty to nonexistent.) Web browsing is second to none (IMO); it's leagues ahead of BB's browser. There are tons of free and/or cheap apps that are actually useful, as well...the first one I downloaded after I got my iPhone was the WDW Times Guide in electronic form. Even though I'm obviously not there every day of my life, it does make me feel like I have a little piece of Disney there with me, knowing that I can click on it and see what Off Kilter's schedule is today and that Illuminations is at 9 pm. :goodvibes

What carrier do you use? If you have AT&T and are happy with them and want an iPhone, they're selling the 3G model (which is the model just before the one they launched this summer, the 3GS) for relatively cheap now because they're no longer the latest model. I think a refurbished 8GB 3G is going for $49 if you're an eligible upgrader, which you should be if you've had your current phone for 3 years. :) Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. You might also check a site like cnet.com that has a lot of product reviews, too.

it's only 2 years where I live. Getting my iPhone in Nov.

I have a Palm Centro-I hate it but I have to have it for work. They just announced that they will be supporting the Palm Pre and Blackberry sometime next year :thumbsup2

I love my iPhone! My reception is great, I have never had a dropped call or broken up reception. I love the apps, camera, games, itunes, facebook, twitter, email, etc.

In the winter I dropped my iPhone (really hard), I mean it came flying out of the car and out into the parking lot of the mall. I had it charging but laying on top of my pocketbook. I forgot the phone was there and attached to the wire charger and when I grabbed my pocketbook, the iPhone when flying! :scared1::headache: There was sand and gravel on the ground b/c of snow and my phone landed face down on the screen then flipped onto its' back. I thought for sure it would be a mess, but to my surprise, it worked just fine and still does! I only had the plastic protective screen on at the time. I had a case on it until 2 days prior to dropping it. I really don't know why I took it out of the protective case but I did. Anyways, even after bouncing off cement and gravel, it works like a charm. :)

My husband also has an iPhone that he loves. He likes it a lot more than the blackberry he has to have for work.

I'm not even sure about my phone, I think it's an LG. The service is Alltell/Verizon. I hardly ever use it. DH, on the other hand, uses his (same kind) daily for his job and he drops calls all the time. He said the service was better when it was just Alltel. Then when they merged with Verizon it got bad. He complains about it all the time.

We had the exact opposite problem, our Alltel service was HORRIBLE and excellent with Verizon. I suppose it comes down to the towers in your area.

I have an iPhone 3G and I adore it. I LOVE being able to go on the internet just about anywhere. I love the different applications. I love the games which keep me entertained when I'm waiting for something. I love listening to pod casts. The only minus is that AT&T is not great when I visit the Chicago area. Since you already have AT&T you know what the coverage is like near you. FWIW, my DH has a Blackberry Pearl. He likes it but I hate it. I don't like the keyboard and I think the screen is too small.

I just got the LG Env Touch about a month ago. I love it! Great phone! Took some getting used to, but I am so happy with it!

I have the LG enV as well and I love it. I have had no complaints about it at all. I want the iPhone, but I'm not willing to switch to AT&T to get it - their coverage in our area is not good. I'm getting either an enV 3 or an enV Touch next month, to (hopefully) tide me over until Verizon finally gets the iPhone.
