What car should I drive to DIScon???

Which car should I drive to DIScon?

 • Saturn with TWNCRYR vanity plates

 • Dodge Grand Caravan which comfortably seats 7

 • Don't care - Why are you wasting valuable board resources with this dumb poll

Now that my filling has been replaced and I don't have to see the dentist for another 6 months, I can now devote my full attention to the pressing matter of what car to drive to DIScon.

Should I drive my 1995 Saturn Sport Coupe with the TWNCRYR license plates? Or should I take the family minivan so I have more passenger space for the Taco Bell & Krispy Kreme runs?

I am leaning towards the minivan because it is a leased vehicle that we are turning in next June. We are nowhere near exhausting the allowed mileage. I kind of hate to put any more miles on the Saturn than I have to, especially since we own that car. Sue says I can have the minivan unless she manages to book a wedding for the first two weeks of December (in which case she would need the van to deliver flowers).

Please take a moment to vote.

Voted minivan, but I imagine your mileage on the Saturn would be better. But then again, the wear and tear on the Saturn might be incalculable.

In other words: I haven't a clue. ;)

As long as you get there john to host that drunken meet I dont care if you take a private jet!! Just be on time cause I will...:smooth:

Johnnnnnnn...I voted for your Saturn before I read your post. I know how much you love your Saturn...lol. But you can carry a lot of Krispy Kremes in a mini-van...lol.

If you have to fly, I'll be happy to give you a ride whenever you need it.

Ray :)

I say drive the van. You mentioned some recent probs with your Saturn and I'd hate for you have any trouble when you need to be having fun. Also if van is a lease go ahead and put the miles on it. And lastly you can get a lot of donuts and/or Dis'ers in your van:teeth:

JMHO...pick the one that is working best....You don't want a repeat of my drive home from Chicago...I just want you to get there safe and sound...:)

Hmmm tough question.

Which one is more comfortable for the drive? That would be my pick.

Of course with the van you could help Joe and I move hotels on the 8th so take the van. ;)

But then again, gotta love that license plate so take the Saturn :)

But then again what was the last option........ j/k

I hope I helped you make up your mind, John just as long as you decide to come in something. :p

Sue is on her way to the Dodge dealership to pickup the minivan. Did I mention that the head gasket on the engine blew last Sunday?

So I would have to say that the minivan is probably the more reliable of the two vehicles right now although the Saturn has slightly better tires for winter driving. I figured out that the difference in gas mileage would probably only amount to $50 more for me to drive the minivan, so that's not a big issue. I'm so glad that this is my biggest worry right now. :)

And thanks Ray for the offer to drive me around if I decide to fly. But one way or another, I'm driving to DIScon.

er, whichever one is not misbehaving at the time you're ready to leave ;)

seriously, I'd say the van, since it's leased

I didn't vote. :teeth:
The practical person in me says the mini van would be a better way to go. You would have the room to drive people around, etc.
The fun person in me says the Saturn. It would be fun to take a roadtrip with that car and then we can all see your special plate. ;) :)
Sorry, I'm no help! But I guess I'll add my vote of which ever one is most realiable. You certainly don't want vehicle problems on the way down.

Voting for the "PEOPLE MOVER"-----notice how I it is now a Disney question--or poll? OK --people or KK mover---all the same.

Had to reply don't care becausse I was cracking up too much when I seen that option...

Drive the Van..put the miles on IT...

John, I vote that you drive the Grand Caravan and you sneak the TWNCRYR plates on it. Of course, you'll need to obey the speed limit and other "traffic rules" on the way down. Nevermind! ;)

I voted mini-van.....how else are you going to fit us all in for the KK and Taco Bell runs? :)

Dodge Caravans !@#$%^

But I voted the van any way for space.

Our 97 Dodge Caravan has a new engine and a whole bunch of other new parts. I will never buy one again. The Caravan is the car that crapped out so that I couldn't go visit Dayna and Barb in Norman.....(we successfully sued the Dodge Dealer in town for part of the new engine costs....hubby is a budding lawyer)

Aaarrrrggghhhh.....:( :( :(

While I am not a donut fan (sorry guys, I just don't like 'em. I don't like cookies or pies much either)....I am a DIEHARD Taco Bell Fan....yummy! Count me in.
